"Don't let the NOW you sabotage the NEXT you." - Tye Tribbett
The old you gave up!
The old you didn’t give it time!
The old you wasn’t all in!
Anything new takes time and trusting the process to get results is key.
This new program is truly challenging me as I navigate more food, new exercises and equipment and a NEW FOCUS!
Does it take discipline? Heck yes but I truly want to see what my body can do over the next 5 weeks.
Day 5 yesterday had sweat flying and muscles crying but I was all in from day 1.
When will your day 1 be so the NEXT YOU can take control??
It was about this time last Saturday, I recieved the call...my fur baby had passed over to the otherside. Still smiling, on his fave spot, with his fave blanket....he took his last breath and laid to rest peacefully. Loving, happy, handsome to the last day. Cancer is a bitch. (One of his last pics a day before his last, swipe to last photo)
The picture before that is the cat at the vet comforting me 😻 while we choose the fate of his remains.
But amongst the chaos of the day and whilst trying to shake the feeling like im trying to climb out of a sand pit that keeps pouring sand in..( much has happened in the last couple months and many of it I have yet to share with social media)..I kept moving forward any way that I could.
I know with the opportunities that came that day, it will help me in so many ways I cant imagine at this moment. But I know.
So my message to you. If you are willing to hear. If you are listening...remind yourself, hard times are temporary. Dont stop life when life gets hard. Take some time. Appreciate support and keep doing the things, going to places, seeing people, moving forward. Even if it hurts every inch to move because your stressed, depressed, sad, mad...keep living. Keep moving forward.
