I spent all last night awaiting a package from @UPS.
Delivery window was 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Not sure why they provide a delivery window. They often ignore it themselves. Last night, they REALLY ignored it. I live in a key entry apartment building, meaning delivery people (other than the USPS) can’t get in unless I come down and let them in. I went to bed at 9:30 last night - don’t judge, I’m getting old and I was tired. 🤷🏼♀️ At 9:52 pm, my phone rings. It was UPS, trying to delivery my package. At freakin’ 8 minutes until 10:00 AT NIGHT. Who the hell does that??? Seeing as how I was in my gown and in bed and Randey was in the shower, neither of us could rush down to get the package. So now, they’re sending it to a drop off point today, which means I have to walk almost a mile across Waikiki to pick it up (parking options are extremely limited down near the drop off point.😡) OR I can request to have them deliver it to my apartment tomorrow. Which means I’d have another worthless “delivery window” to waste my whole day on since they don’t stick to their own timelines. (Also, I’d tried to ask them to try to deliver to my apartment again TODAY via their website, but they were going to charge me $5 for that service. And no guarantee it’d be today, not tomorrow. Considering I’d already paid $6.99 extra for 2 day deliver from @amazon
- even though I’m a Prime member - I decided it wasn’t worth it.) So here I sit, annoyed and frustrated, without the item I was supposed to receive yesterday. And UPS could not possibly care less. Terrible customer service. #ihateUPS #frustrated #downsidetolivinginhawaii #primememberdoesntmeanprimeshippingwhenyouliveinhawaii #grumpy
