It’s obvious that most of us have been caught up in this social media trap of becoming obsessed with likes, followers, comments, etc.
It’s not that metrics and statistics aren’t important, but rather that likes won’t get you money...it will only give you a false image of self, IF you let yourself get controlled by it!
I know people who have 158 followers and are millionaires and I know people with 10k or 100k followers who are struggling with money, so fame and wealth are two totally different things. It’s great if you have them both, tho!
So, don’t focus on numbers, focus on value. Ask yourself: Does my content actually offer my audience any value? If the answer to the question is no or maybe then you should think twice about your content, because once you start to promote your products or service, your audience won’t be interested in that, it will only be interested in your ass or whatever it is that gets people faster on your page. -
And don’t get me wrong, feel free to post whatever you like, it’s just that 100k followers will turn into 0 cash once you try and sell something or promote a service.
Bringing value to your followers is the best way to make your community grow. Even though it’s much slower, the traffic and interest is organic, mindful and strategic 💯
