Hi! I am somebody from the crowded thousands who read you, admire you and imagine you as their savior.
I am an escapist- like many, who search for solace in words. I don't have much understanding of poetry, but reading yours make me wanna write. There's an appetite for your aesthetic sense- Oh! How beautifully you color monographic frames of heartbreaks, depression and solitude with contrasting shades of world wars, Jane Austen's heroines and Indian Goddesses.
Your poetry phenomenally reflects reality. Yes, I'm not a bibliophile either but I can easily say that I know no other poet who doesn't just mesmerize me but also leaves me inspired.
To be honest, I always wanted to write out to you to express how your poetry has impacted me in a million ways, and somehow now seems to be the appropriate time. Your last post told that you were sick and I was shook. Idk how can a person on the Internet just feel like my very own; Over the time, I as your avid reader have become attached. Art is supposed to do that, you know! It connects. So knowing that you're unwell, I secretly wished to make you feel a little more special than you know you already are. We, your fans and fam are by your side always.
Megha, you're a warrior. Each poem that you write is a creation of God himself bestowing strength as if he anointed you to heal the hurt and broken with words. Now, it may seem hyped but you gotta believe when I say your poetry and mends souls.
What you write isn't just magnificent, but it's surreal, fierce and freaking powerful at the same time. I read you only to imagine how you'd have pressed your lips in silence, only to shout out loud on paper. I really want to thank the person who broke your heart, for he gave birth to the modern version of a messiah of words.
You, my lovely poetess are a rock for young girls who bleed- a potion to those who have long waited to free themselves off the victimhood and a voice of all tattered hearts.
If there were a team Joel and team Megha at @ttt_official
, I'd have cheered for you till my throat hurts screaming 'Aye Aye Captain' 🌸
Wishing for your good health!
