Mal ganz davon abgesehen, dass ich persönlich der Meinung bin, dass viele sich nur nicht trauen, mal etwas Dampf abzulassen, ist es mir durchaus bewusst, dass es auch einige Personen gibt, denen diese Verhaltensweisen nicht zusagen. Und in diesem Fall muss man ganz klar sagen, wenn du es nicht willst, mach es nicht, versuche jedoch nicht den Personen ihren Spaß zu rauben oder gar schlechtzureden, es gibt genug Studios mit ruhiger Fahrstuhlmusik und Technogym Laufbändern mit integriertem SkyTV. 😉

[AOM Episode 252] . . 🔶Bigger and Stronger Forearms🔶 . Forearm strength training is a much neglected aspect of many training and rehab programs. ✊ The forearms are a muscle group that is needed for a wide array of activities from opening a door to deadlifting 300 pounds. Strength, stamina, and overall endurance in the forearms is essential for many of your lifts and if not targeted in your workouts it may be limiting your potential. Also, it will improve not only your performance in the gym, but your ability to perform normal every day activities. The research tells us that grip strength is highly predictive of functional limitations and disability in old age. Therefore, here is a group of exercises that can be performed to improve overall grip/forearm strength! 💪 . The exercises include: . . 1️⃣ Behind the back wrist curl 2️⃣ Plate pinches 3️⃣ Plate Tosses 4️⃣ Plate curl 5️⃣ Reverse bicep curl 6️⃣ Controlled wrist curl . Remember, that your forearms are like any other muscle group and they will respond best to progressive overload. Therefore, make sure that you increase both volume (frequency, reps, sets) and weight over time while trying to hit the different muscle groups (flexors and extensors)! 👊 If you want to beef up those forearms then give these bad boys a try and let us know what you think! 🤙 . . 🎶
🎶Row, row, row your lats, into hypertrophy. Heavily, heavily, heavily, until it starts to sting...🎵 . Killer back workout tonight. Really focusing on cable rows lately. You can go super heavy on these with minimal risk of back injury. I performed three sets of rows, with each set using the full rack of plates (300 lbs.) for 6 reps. Then, cut the weight in half (150 lbs.) and continued with rest-pause sets until failure. . That's it! Arms and abs on deck! 💪 - Here's a quick ab circuit that will have your core feeling like Jell-O. 😂😤 - Save this post and share it with your workout partner to give these exercises a try!! Here's the breakdown from the full session ⬇️ - Deep Incline DB Curl- 10, 8, 8, 6 reps- 1:2:1:2* ➖ Cable Hammer Curl- 3 sets of 12 reps- 3:0:1:0 ➖ Hammer Curl- 3 sets of 10 reps each- regular tempo ➖ Ab Circuit- 3 rounds ➖ DB Forearm Curl- 2 sets of 15 reps- 2:0:1:0 ➖ Give this circuit a go! Make sure you perform each exercise until failure is reached, then go straight into the next exercise with little to no rest (no more than 10 seconds). Your core will be begging for mercy! 🙏 - 🆕 Exercise- this second video shows a little twist on a standard Incline DB Curl. Putting the bench a little farther down will place a significant pre-stretch on the outer head of the biceps (one most responsible for your peak 🗻), requiring a harder contraction on each rep. If you want bigger arms, you gotta hit the peak hard! 👷 - For further explanation on Time Under Tension (TUT) and each of these exercises, follow the link in my bio. - *Tempo explanation: On sets with a four digit number (ex. 4:0:1:0), the first number represents the eccentric portion of the rep, or lowering of the weight/lengthening of the muscle due to gravity. - The second number represents the isometric hold at the bottom of the rep. - The third number represents the concentric portion of the rep, or the initiation of the movement opposite of gravity/ shortening of the muscle. - The fourth number represents the isometric hold at the top of the rep. - **Regular tempo (1:1:1:1) calls for performing reps without TUT. This means a one second eccentric, one second hold, one concentric, and one second hold, repeated.
