We can’t wait to yoga with you Jessica 💕😉
Inspired again by @hugatr33 - this time to go for a forearmstand pike press. 💪
This is my second try, first one was probably a bit “better” but it wasn’t recorded - this one I had SO much mind chatter but it’s there. Now for the real work - citta vrtti nirodha. 😇
And get those last-minute signups in for my inversion workshop THIS Saturday @yoyoganyc - all levels! We have 2 hours to play, so there will be a short targeted flow, building strong inversion foundations, & just maybe some of this if anyone wants (maybe in headstand) 🤷♀️😘
Do your best.
Leave everything else to the powers above you. ✨
Randomly walking today and I decided to try this pose WITHOUT the wall or a tree. 😬
Surprisingly enough I [almost] held it.
With the move, my body was physically pushed and I weakened in my practice for a few days.
Excited to start back and really start taking my practice to the next level.
I’ve got some pretty big goals before this year is up. Can’t wait to watch them come to life. ✨
Cheers to many more #forearmfridays beyond this one. 🥂Although I might use this spot again. I mean, do you see how BEAUTIFUL this place is? 😍
Almost forgot #forearmfriday but not sure this counts. 🤔 Closest I have though! I was doing baby crow for a challenge today and I thought about this funky side baby crow thing. So I decided to try it, duh. What do you think about this shape? Yay? Nay?

I admire those who come across radiating confidence; trusting their own voice and thoughts, completely comfortable in their own skin, with their own body. Confidence seems so effortless to some. But surely everyone struggles with insecurities at some point.....right?
The best thing about this is zelda watching 😂🐶 so I’ve been checking out the #pinchapress hashtag and it just blows my mind. How on earth do you just lift your whole bottom half up 🤯 crazy! I first tried blocks and then moved on to the couch 😄 definitely will experiment with this more. 139/150 #150timespincha#forearmfriday
Tomorrow is Day 6 of #SchoolsbackSeptember and we have pincha. #forearmfriday
Tips for #pincha
▪set up on forearms by grabbing both elbows with your hands and then bringing them out in front. This is a great place to have your forearm distance
.▪use a block or prayer hands
▪butt engaged (especially if you want scorpion😂)
Seriously my favorite inversion. I used to try so hard to kick up and one day it's like all the hard work I put in started showing. Then a few months later it had progressed. Just know that learning takes time. All the love ❤️
If you SWIPE, you’ll see a video of me breaking down the asana using @thebeginnersguidetoyoga (*I am not a certified yoga instructor*). -------
I can’t wait to read all of your tips and see your favorite variations in our hashtag. .
