Using EMS, an athlete can contract a muscle group more completely and cleanly than by lifting weights. EMS works directly on the muscle to get a complete contraction. This is particularly important when targeting fast-twitch muscle fiber and stimulating the ability to fire up injured or underactive muscles.
Research shows that players who incorporated EMS training into their workouts improved significantly. The evaluation of the individual tests showed:
* (Maximum) strength performance increased on average by 30.07 %
* Jumping performance increased on average by 9.14 %
* Speed and sprint performance increased on average by 19.38 %
* Kicking speed increased on average by 16.3 %
