Fueled up on fruit- banana, guava and papaya. I topped it with hemp seeds and cacao nibs (favourite nibbleys).

I have been quiet on social media this week because I have been reading.
Like .... 2 almost 500 page novels and 2 other books reading (so that is 4 books in less than a week) ..wow!!!! One of them is #lightisthenewblack
I was sooooo resistant to reading this book.
I had "I know this already -itis" (which.. I wrote about having this morning , in my journal, and then later on in the book she talks about it !!) I am glad I opened my heart and mind to reading it. .
To be honest, I felt envious of her. And frustrated at myself for not already being where she is. Accomplished. Successful. Sharing her message. .
However, no matter how much out of alignment I have been, for however long, and whatever reasons.... There has been so many gifts in learning. .
I used to be a complete workaholic. I ran two businesses from home , and also homeschooled my 4 kids. And did volunteer work. And ...did I mention I am a single parent
I Slept very little. .
After the big Splat ..(ahem. You know, when your health tanks so much you cannot do the stuff you used to do?) I had to learn how to use my energy wisely. .
Hahah. What does that mean? I had no clue !
I kept making critical judgement of how long it would take to do stuff errors.
Because I was so exhausted ...and kept getting reactions from fragrance and chemicals that would rip the rug out from under me. Which meant projects got started, and not finished. Or took days or weeks or months to finish. Because I couldn't think. Or read. Or understand what I was reading because I had so much brainfog and cognitive issues.

3 years ago. (Because my daughter was ill and I needed to help her. ) I supported her by doing all the cooking and organizing and reading (which I had to make all kinds of charts to figure out what she needed. )
I was second though. I was looking after her. I was told "MCS is incurable. It will only get worse.". And I lived that belief for a few years. Until I decided , that was not my truth. function. The saying 'an apple a day keeps the doctor away', has alot of truth to it. Right now is harvest time, which goes on longer than we think as there are so many varieties of apples. The thing is, some need to mature before using or the flavours will not have developed. A good tip for knowing when fully ripe is cut in half and check the colour of the pips, they need to look like dash chicolate😀The UK has an abundance of apple varieties, why import! Good morning 😊 I enjoy a cup of coffee after the gym and before sunday cleaning 😜 If you swipe you can see the pictures of the delicious salmon dish I made yesterday, it tasted really good and I ate a big portion! It did not prevent me from filling a whole plate afterwards with meat and vegetables. Yummy!

🥦🥒🍃🥗 All of this cost me only $23 (AUD). I’m feeling quite accomplished for once on a Sunday night after walking to/from the markets, cleaning the bathroom, and doing a ton of meal prep. I roasted up two trays of veg, massaged cabbage for sauerkraut, prepped cauliflower rice, de-stemmed/rinsed/stored a bunch of kale, and made about 4L of juice for the week. After eating out the last few days (which was great while it lasted), I’m excited to be cooking and eating the way I love, with an abundance of fresh, wholesome ingredients.

🤢Normally, I would be excited to do some kitchen experiments on a Sunday and shot some recipes... but honestly, the past 5 days I struggled with nausea - especially in the morning. I don’t feel like eating and more like I am immediately going to throw up... painkillers make that especially worse (which is why I don’t take them). .
Don’t know what the upcoming week will turn out to be like but I came to a point where I am just chilled & try to make the best out of it.🤷🏼♀️

: "😍Tender Chicken Breasts Stuffed w/ Broccoli, Parmesan, Cheddar, & Cream Cheese 🧀 a delicious low-carb dinner!🥦
For the chicken
4 chicken breasts
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning optional
1 teaspoon paprika optional
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon olive oil
For the filling
2 cups broccoli florets
1/4 cup bell pepper minced
1/2 cup cheddar cheese or melting cheese of choice
4 ounces cream cheese softened
¼ cup grated Parmesan
2 cloves garlic minced
salt and pepper
To steam broccoli: Chop the broccoli florets into small pieces. Put all the broccoli in a microwave-safe bowl & about 2 tablespoons water. add water. Cover w/ plastic wrap & microwave on high for 2-3 minutes. Alternatively, steam on stove-top or blanch in boiling water for 1 minutes. Use a sharp knife to slice each chicken breasts horizontally to form a pocket. Be sure not stop cutting about 1/2 inch from the ends and sides. Season chicken breasts w/ a generous sprinkle of Italian seasoning, garlic powder, paprika, salt, & pepper.
In a large bowl, combine the steam & chopped broccoli, bell pepper, garlic, cheeses and salt & Pepper; set aside. Spoon the mixture into each chicken breast evenly. Secure w/ toothpicks if needed.
Preheat oven to 400F. Heat 1 tablespoons oil in a large cast iron or oven-safe pan over medium-high heat. Add the chicken breasts & cook for 2-3 minutes per side or until golden. Cover w/ aluminum foil & transfer to preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until cooked through. -

🥄 Ginger, which will cause you to sweat quite a bit, but is wonderful in aiding digestion.
🍵 Green tea for it’s antioxidant properties and to lower cholesterol
🌿 Rosemary for digestion, which should be added as a dry ingredient
🍋 Lemon to help you destress
🌸 Dried Lavender for relaxation
For maximum benefit, stay in the bath for at least 20 minutes, and then take a cool shower for 5 minutes right after.
SBN DETOX bath can serve other uses as well, such as relieving pain or muscle aches, calming headaches, and helping you relax after a particularly stressful day. Enjoy!
superhero 4th birthday party done and dusted! Miss 4 had a blast, and the food went down a treat! (Apparently I have a reputation with the kiddies’ friends for making yummy party food!) We had fruit skewers, choc mint brownies, pumpkin dip, veggie sticks and seeded mustard crackers, popcorn, chocolate crackles, and double layer chocolate and vanilla birthday cake with choc banana icing. The other day I was talking with a friend about his little guy; he mentioned how he has some of the same traits as him, especially the same soft spot and love for animals.
Now I'm more of a soft activist, and try not to preach to people about their lifestyle choices; my approach is more about inspiring and educating others so they can make the choice on their own.
However my gut reaction to his sentence was of course - BUT YOU EAT THEM!?! .
Yet that was as far as I went with my response, as I think sometimes a small tidbit is all one needs to say to really make someone think about their stance on animals.
But given how many people say they LOVE animals, and still eat them - I really am continuously shocked by it. .
If you think animals used to make food and clothing, or used for product testing, medical research, etc are spoiled, pampered and treated like your pets; you are sadly mistaken and poorly educated on the matter.
