3 easy productivity hacks to get more done in less time!
1️⃣ Binaural Beats 🎧
I have no idea if their is scientific proof to support binaural beats improving concentration and flow state but my god you can’t distract me when I’m using them to work. I go straight in to a tunnel. It’s so cool! They only seem to work with in-ear headphones though 🤷♂️ add-on tip: on amazon music, search for “binaural beats meditation” and you’ll find an “artist” of that name with different binaural beats for different states. Zen focus is the bomb 💥👌
2️⃣ Pomodoro Timer ⏲
Very simple hack which keeps you in a fresh state to continue with deep, concentrated work. There are loads of apps for it but all you need is your phone timer: 25min work, followed by a 5min break. STICK TO THE PLAN! Drop your pen after 25min, stand up, walk around or get a drink for 5min then get back to it. After 4 cycles take a longer break.
3️⃣ Flight Mode ✈️
Such an obvious, but VERY overlooked hack. Download your binaural beats then get on flight mode pronto! Calls, notifications, texts, flashy, shiny thingys ob your iPhone are KILLING your flow state. Check them in your 5min break if you can handle it or after your 4th cycle in your longer break to batch whatever your phone wants from you. •
