=== ACE === Today was a good day for me and Ace. We did a few hours of flat work and we worked on his transitions a little more, which I am proud of his improvement.
I'm thinking on entering little Acey, but I wanna know what you guys think. Also, tomorrow we work on jumps! Ace is rusty with jumping, as I couldn't find time in my schedule with training Luna during the summer and winter months, but we are 'jumping' right back into the saddle :) •
Well tonight’s ride was umm different 🙈. To start he saddle was reflocked as it has dropped, she is in season at the moment so of course she is going to be a little different. If I tapped her or used the whip she would buck or kick out which is really un usual, after a bit she was so good and worked in a beautiful outline for around 10 minutes so I’m actually proud of her tonight 😂 even though it wasn’t the best ride on paper, she settled down well and produced some beautiful work taking the content and on the bit and working over her back which I could really feel her lift herself 😊 feel as if our dressage is finally starting to improve, she is also on Bute for the next week to see if it help her feel more comfortable with her ovaries #horsesofinstagram#equinephotography#hardworkpaysoffs#dressagetraining#dressage#traininghard#hardwork#flatwork#flat#mare#grey#mareinseason#proud#comingalong#loveher
Phoenix has been acting out lately so we decided to change up the routine so we started with circles as always and the trotted the square pattern. The canter is when he is acting up but he didn’t once so I didn’t canter him to long so I could reward his good behavior. We did some simple liberty work and desensitizing which is what you see in the video. I promise I am not hitting him at all because it looks like it at the one part. Luckily it should be a little warmer out so I should be at the barn more this week.
My gorgeous princess👑 got a few pictures of her today, think she looks extremely beautiful🙈 🐴We did some flat work today just in walk and trot because she had a slight swelling in her right hind leg, however she isn’t lame so we did some light work. We worked on stretching today as she is quite right through her back❤️ she worked really hard and couldn’t be happier🥰
Sorry about the bad quality video! Hate winter😫 But here’s a clip from my lesson on Monday. Buster was so good after a tantrum which included a lot of bucks😂 But in the end after a longer than expected lesson I finally managed to get him round and on the bit in walk, trot and most of canter!!😆 Might not seem like a big deal but I’m super happy with him because we usually spend our time looking like a giraffe.

A short video showing the form I always efforts to ride Basse in. Relaxed, with long and low neck 💪 I know the position of the nose could be better. But that is no so easy for us.

I’m happy with how Melby went today! She needs a little more strengthening work to hold herself better in the higher frame and a lot of work on her transitions. Melba tends to be a little slow to the leg or when you half halt she falls very easily behind your leg and drops the contact. She has to learn to come more into the contact and continue moving her hind legs which we’ve been working on for a while and I usually is the Dressage whip to give her a light tap if she drops the contact and stops moving her hind legs but I’m trying now to not use it and I think it’s a lot better ❤️ but still a lot of work needed 😁 I still think she’s pretty good for a rising 5 year old and have been off for a while ☺️Excuse the terrible transition to canter, my hands and my shoulders 🤷🏼♀️🙈
Siin on mega lühike postitus Saksa võistlustest😝
