YOUR definition of success is more important
Than how the world defines it.

There was once a businessman who watched a fisherman catch a few big fish 🎣
Businessman: So, after fishing, what do you do for the rest of the day?
Fisherman: Well, I usually wake up early in the morning, go out to sea and catch a few fish, then go back and play with my kids. In the afternoon, I take a nap with my wife, and evening comes, I join my buddies in the village for a drink.
Businessman: I am a PhD in business management. I could help you to become a more successful person. From now on, you should spend more time at sea and try to catch as many fish as possible. When you have saved enough money, you could buy a bigger boat and catch even more fish. Soon you will be able to afford to buy more boats, set up your own company, your own production plant for canned food and distribution network... set up HQ to manage your other branches.
Fisherman: And after that?
Businessman: After that, you can live like a king in your own house, and when the time is right, you can go public and float your shares in the Stock Exchange, and you will be rich.
Fisherman: And after that?
Businessman: After that, you can finally retire, you can move to a house by the fishing village, wake up early in the morning, catch a few fish, then return home to play with kids, have a nice afternoon nap with your wife and drink with your buddies.
Fisherman: Isn’t that what I am doing now? 🤯✨😊

It was great to be back and catch up with you guys after 2 weekend off teaching. One of the many reasons why we love group fitness is that it brings you together as ONE and you can make fitness fun & make friends along the way!! Supporting one another inside in the studio and out! @denikaarnold
is extremely grateful of all the lovely comments regarding her competition that she received this morning. So many people saying ‘congratulations’ and ‘well done’. Asking how she got on and wanting to see all the pictures!! THATS WHY WE LOVE THIS JOB!! Supporting one another ❤️

☀️ Christina Rose De Mer Cover Cream -
I was looking back through the pictures Nic, Tali and I took this holiday and even though we all exercise, eat relatively well and have our own fitness journeys it occurred to me that ‘being healthy’ looks different on everyone, and there is no ‘right’ way to ‘do fitness’ 🏋🏻♀️
Tali is a student at UCL and a PT who weight trains 5+ times a week 💪🏻
Nicole does marketing for a corporate travel company and gyms 3-4 times a week, a mix of cardio and weights 🌟
And I’m on a grad scheme one year out of uni, I now run 3 times a week and weight train once or twice if I feel like it 🏃🏻♀️
We each have different bodies, different clothes sizes and different angles that flatter us- there is no one size that fits all 😌
Each of our journeys have been different and we have different goals and priorities when it comes to working out and it goes to show that when it comes to exercising or being healthy you should do what’s right for you- wherever that’s weight training, power lifting, group sports, cardio, crossfit, etc etc!
Fitness has become so glamourised on instagram and has occasionally made me feel that I’m not ‘doing fitness right’ as the exercise I enjoy seemed at odds which what was ‘trendy’ 🤷🏻♀️ and the thing about trends is that they come and go- once abs were what everyone wanted, then a thigh gap, next it’s a booty and who knows what it will be next year!
So just do what you enjoy as in the long run it’s likely you’ll feel much more satisfied and better off 😌
Don’t forget to acknowledge how far you have come. 4 weeks before this photo, I was laying in a hospital bed and had hit the lowest point of my health even though I had done everything right as advised by doctors and surgeons. Some things you have absolutely no control over and you can choose to make it a negative experience or you can choose to make it just a bump in a road, I refuse to let my condition get the better of me and let it rule my life and affect who I am as a person. I am still making up for lost time and trying to find a way to be a better version of myself. I will not give up. 💪🏼
