So this little rockstar joined me for my 20 minute workout today and she rocked it!! I love showing up for myself everyday, but I also love showing up for my kids. I love that she gets upset when I workout without her (but mommy needs her time too sometimes), I love that she sees me stronger and more confident everyday, and I love that she sees me love myself truly!
I've always been careful to try and not talk negatively about myself, especially in front of my kids, but to actually believe that I am worth it and love myself, I know that they see it!! I know they see me happier, more patient, less stressed, and all around better. I love that they see me working hard towards big goals, and the discipline that's involved, but also all the fun. I love that they are right along on this journey with me!! I am on high called LIFE and nothing can hold me back!
Changes happen when you push yourself out of your comfort zone. When you try new things. When you carve out time in your day to better your mind, body and soul. Both photo are real, it’s just a matter of getting the right pose and angle. I gained some fat around my waist and hips. I do admit for the past 1 week I’ve been enjoying lots of sinful food happily. No regrets!

I eat whatever I feel like eating! No tracking macros, eating over 2000 cals. .
Training - Light strength training which I incorporate in my HIIT workout usually last for 30 minutes. Lot’s of stretching before and after workout.
My period screw up during my prep for the show. Aunt flow haven’t pay a visit yet. Digestion also screw up during my travels to Manila, now getting back to normal. Injury on my hip and lower back is better no more sharp pain when I move, pose or training. My feature look healthier no more tight, sagging and swollen eyes.

If I wear the leggings, I got to do the work out. Its been atleast a year since I have done country heat. I forgot how much I love it. It's one work out I always put 110% into. I love me some Country and line dancing. Yes that is my glow in the dark stomach. Nope I'm not ashamed of it. I am ashamed of what I did to it the last year. But that is not something to hang on to if you're trying to move forward. Be proud of your body. It holds you up off the floor. I used to be that girl who possessed a very low self esteem - never good enough for anything, the worst thing is I believe that I will never be. That continues for years. I was always so conscious about how people see or think about me, and that great things only happens to people with money, who is smart, who is pretty, who is stronger, who was born with gifted skills. So I am by nature a shy, reserved person and physically small, others look at me as weak, too young, and easily bullied. I allow that because I thought I am just that - the mediocre. Deep down I was raging wanting to come out and show the real me but I hold myself back because of FEAR. Fear of being different and not accepted Growing up I was never allowed to speak up my mind. My opinion never matter, so more often I will just I shut down.
Somehow after 36 years, when I found bodybuilding that fire flicker inside me. A feeling so strange it scared the shit out of me. It felt so empowering and scary at the same time. I had doubts asking myself over and over again, and the answer is always the same, I want it, and I want badly. I feel complete and purposeful. That was my turning point. I’m now very vocal about what I want. I don’t give shit about how others think about me. It’s very liberating. Bodybuilding and being on stage gave me confidence that I thought I never had. It was about being out of my comfort zone and I love every single thing about it both the good and bad. I can be me, the little girl who is strong, beautiful and confident

I love having my son by my side as I work out. He tells me to be careful. He patted and scratched the top of my head (like you do to your dogs😒), when I was struggling to do push ups. He also cheered me on and said "mommy you got it". Being that I have such a chaotic schedule that is constantly changing I currently have not had much time for meal prep or to find recipes. I really didn't want to do my work out today. I was tired and sore. But the truth is I'm always tired and always sore. So I put my big girl panties on and pushed through 22 minute hard corps. The best part about choosing to do Beachbody workouts is it's in the privacy of your own home. So if you grunt and make ugly noises like I do, No one can hear it. If you pray out loud when working out and ask God for forgiveness for not taking care of the the body he gave you, no one can judge you. And if you barf at the end today like I did no one can make fun of you. This journey is ugly but only because I allowed myself to gain the weight back and be unhealthy.
