My first attempt at Homemade Ramen! made with Freshly Made (Made to order) Ramen (from Sid Wainer and Son). We Sauteed The Onions, Shiitake Mushrooms, Freshly Chopped Ginger, Chopped Garlic and Chopped Garlic in Sesame Oil and an aged Soy Sauce then added the Broth: which was more aged Say Sauce, Garlic, Sea Salt, Kanzuri Chili Paste (the Chiles that were used in this paste were buried in snow in Niigata Japan where steady humidity raises levels of amino acids, making the Chili's sweeter, and their aroma less earthy. Also there is yuzu juice in it to add a bit of a fruit citrusy vibe to it) and Basil. I love that as a family, we can be active. I didn't grow up with active parents (well my dad loves to walk but my mother never show any interest in being physical active) but we have the power to change a generation with a healthy lifestyle.
Having a child at 40 , I know its a must to be active as to be able to out run her in the years to come .

I firmly believe you won't continue to exercise if you hate it. Try to find something you enjoy! Anything that moves your body. Dancing, yoga, crossfit, swimming, etc. .
It also helps if you change your mindset. You get to exercise, not you have to exercise. And that doesn't just apply to exercise. There are so many things out there to make your life better in every way. Try them all until you find something you really enjoy!💚

Squats! Ass to the grass or partial movement?
We are all getting mixed messages depending on who and what we read and talk to!
First let’s consider one essential thing: WHAT IS YOUR MOBILITY LIKE? Can you squat all the way down without curving your spine and lower back under? Are you hips flexible enough to do that? If not, no ass to the grass for you dear! First work on your mobility with stretches, opening up your hips, before attempting ass to grass.
Personally, my hips are not THAT mobile, so I squat 90 degrees or a little below.
What’s your goal? Once you go below 90 degrees, you will be engaging your full leg (quads and hams) to pull yourself out of ‘the hole’ or the bottom of movement. For glute day, I do squats to 90 degrees or a bit below, like you see in video. For full leg day, I go down as low as possible while having good form, because my goal is to engage my legs fully.

Its only 10am and I feel like running away. So I did. Went outside for some sunshine.
Days like this, I just want to ..... I don't know really. Love being home with them and seeing them learn but at times there is so much one person give at one time.
This is when I see how important is self care and time to self especially using exercise.
So I am grateful for some sunshine, nosies of birds, even toddlers running in the backyard.. Its good to be alive.
Eating disorders are actually serious and often fatal illnesses that cause severe disturbances to a person's eating behaviors. Obsessions with food, body weight, and shape may also signal an eating disorder. Common eating disorders include anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, and binge-eating disorder. I'd my fair share of battle with eating disorder for a decade. Hence, I can totally relate to all those who fight hard to stay skinny. Now that I'd successfully overcome my sickness, I really hope to reach out to those who need help and I also wanna help them to change their lives forever.
To lose confidence in one’s body is to lose confidence in oneself. Remember, love yourself unconditionally. You, yourself, as much as anybody in the entire universe, deserve your love and affection. Stay strong! 💪❤ .

“No my shirt isn’t ombré. I’m just covered in sweat!” 😝
This is the story of my fitness life. I’m a hot sweaty 💦mess after every single workout. Does it make for pretty IG pictures? No. But that’s ok. It’s not why I workout. Never has and never will be.
Right now I’m trying to stay as healthy and active as possible during this pregnancy 🤰🏾 For me that includes:
- Spinning 3x a week
- Strength training & Treadmill running 2x a week
- 1-2 easy outdoor runs usually with my jogging stroller

Not many will believe me that I am a very explosive, argumentative, competitive person. I was born a rebel. I used to prove myself, argue my points, try to win people’s minds over. Over the years, I have learned to listen more than speak, and that I don’t need to prove myself to anyone. Proving myself wastes my energy, occupies my mind. I am calm, because I learned that I don’t have to fight with the world. I learned to uphold others and make their days better. I hope you find your calmness, no matter the storms around you.
For me, fitness is not just about hitting the gym, having curves or abs; it is also about an inner happiness and an overall well-being
It’s about self love and proving to YOU that you’re worth it.
Will abs come? Yes. Will you get a body you absolutely love? Yes but make sure you start because you love yourself enough to be your best self. Don’t start because you hate your body
Don’t ever try to be better than someone else. Just be better than you use to be!
This morning my youngest said something that gives me hope.
She said, As she eating her eggs, " I want to be strong as mamma." She is only 2.5 years old
She see mamma trying to be strong, trying to use actions more than words.
Learning one day at a time, one step head the other. As long I keep walking with Mary.

Make sure to push through your heel and use your stable leg to do the work! I never put my moving leg completely down because I tend to “cheat” and use it if I do.
