When I first started my weight loss journey, I just wanted to be ‘slim’ because I believed that it would make me happier.
I didn’t care about being fit & healthy, my goal was about how I looked aesthetically 💁🏼♀️.
It’s easy to think becoming a certain weight or size will bring you happiness, but trust me, it doesn’t.
Happiness for me comes from smashing goals I never thought I could achieve, cheering on the people around me, having great mental health, listening to my body, & allowing ME time 🙌🏼
A number on the scales or a clothes size will absolutely not dictate my happiness 🤘🏼& I am the only person that can ✌🏼

Battle = ropes , bells & balls
❗️Triceps❗️ Too many people neglect the triceps! It’s all well and good having big biceps to fill out your t-shirts. But I’m actual fact your triceps make up around 60-75% of your arms 💪
The tricep is made up of 3 heads, the long head, lateral head and medial head. These can all be targeted using different exercises 👌
Long head - skull crushers, OH dumbbell extensions, close grip bench press and dips
Lateral head - rope extensions, dumbbell kickbacks and tricep push downs
Medial head - close grip bench press, OH dumbbell extensions, cable push downs and dips
Quite a few of these exercises cross over and can be used to target more than one head at a time 🙌

Jokes aside, this was no miracle. It was 2 years of waking up with a purpose and making dozens of difficult decisions every day with the faith that I was edging closer to a goal. Even when that goal was so far away I couldn’t even imagine it. Even when I found myself taking steps backwards. When I wanted to slip into unhealthy habits, I chose not to. When I wanted to speed up the process with some restrictive crash diet, I chose not to. When I wanted to skip the gym and eat pick n mix on the couch until I couldn’t move.........well, I still did that 🤷🏻♀️🙈 But I made the decision to wake up the next day and get back to business 💪🏻 ▫️
