Week 1 Day 1: Legs⠀ * Back Squats 4x5⠀ * Romanian Deadlifts 2x8⠀ * Standing Lunges 2x10 (Each Leg)⠀ Superset: * Leg Extensions 3x15 * Leg Curls 3x15 ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ “The Revival” First day back in the gym after taking a break during the holidays and getting busy with applying for medical school. Constantly was itching to get back into weight lifting but organizing priorities came first. ⠀ ⠀ Now the best way to introduce myself back into the gym and getting back on track with my fitness lifestyle is Leg Day 😂. Not knowing how much strength and how much my form decreased from my hiatus. ⠀ ⠀ Starting with back squats that felt really heavy and moving decent weight losing a little strength. Second difficult exercise was lunges which was burning and painful lacking the muscle endurance now, but still pushed through.

Was ich wirklich absolut liebe und mich richtig zufrieden sein lässt ist, wenn ich mir meine Zeit frei einteilen kann 🤩 Wenn ICH entscheiden kann, wann ich was mache und ich mich nicht an vorgeschriebene Zeiten halten muss. Wann ich zB ins Bett gehe und aufstehe 🛏 Wann ich Kaffee trinke ☕ wann ich esse 🍝 ich habe nicht zwingend um 8 Uhr oder 12 Uhr oder 18 Uhr Hunger 🙄 nur so als Beispiel...oder auch wann ich ins Gym gehe 🏋️‍♀️ usw...ich bin einfach unheimlich gern selbstbestimmt. Das war schon immer so. Am liebsten hätte ich alles 24h quasi zur Verfügung wie beispielsweise offene Geschäfte 🏦 oder Praxen 🏥 und ich könnte dann entscheiden, wann ich wo hin gehe 😅 Ja, ich weiß, das ist Wunschdenken und kaum realisierbar, aber trotzdem wäre es mein "Wunschzustand" und träumen wird man ja noch dürfen 😉😋 Na, jedenfalls war es schön heute Nachmittag noch gemütlich einen #kaffee trinken zu können 😊 und gerade für solche "kleinen" Momente bin ich sehr dankbar 🙏 #mondaymotivation Hoffe ihr hattet alle einen guten Start in die neue Woche liebe #instas 🌸🤗

Are you being realistic with yourself? When it comes to fitness, sometimes people tend set unrealistic expectations for themselves. This is because many tend to look at the results and not the process and not the why (the reasoning behind why they want to achieve a certain lifestyle). Trying to achieve anything and get the results you want that someone else has comes with sacrifices, hard work, and consistency. Sometimes people just don’t realize the process, and then a month into their fitness journeys, the fire that first ignite them to start fades away. Trust me, the starting part is probably one the hardest part because you have no momentum and are almost clueless on how to properly train and diet. It’s like trying to roll a huge boulder down a hill. The beginning is going to be tough and slow, but as long you stick it out, then you will have momentum and it will gradually get better and easier for you.
