Keep seeing cauliflower rice recipes think it’s time to try! #Repost @mealpreprecipes ・・・ CHICKEN WITH PARMESAN CAULIFLOWER RICE💪🏼😍 @mealpreprecipes . . 2 large boneless and skinless chicken breasts halved horizontally to make 4 1/2 cup fresh Parmesan, finely grated Salt and fresh cracked pepper 2 large cloves garlic, grated 1 teaspoon paprika 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning 4 tablespoons unsalted butter divided For the cauliflower rice 3 cups riced cauliflower (about 1 medium head) 1/2 cup white onion, chopped 2 large cloves garlic minced 2 tablespoons vegetable stock Juice of one lemon (+ zest, if you like) Red chili pepper flakes, optional 1/4 cup fresh parsley chopped In a shallow plate, combine parmesan cheese, grated garlic, paprika, and Italian seasoning. Season the chicken with salt and pepper; dredge in the parmesan mixture; shake off excess and set aside. 2. In a large skillet melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium-high heat. Cook chicken until golden on each side and cooked through – about 3-4 minutes for each side, depending on the thickness of your chicken. Transfer to a plate. The cauliflower rice 1. In the same pan, melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Fry the garlic and onion for 1 minute until fragrant — be careful not to burn. 2. Add the riced cauliflower to the skillet and stir to mix everything together well and coat in melted butter. Cook, stirring regularly for 1 minute. 3. Stir in the 2 tablespoons vegetable stock, about half the parsley, and lemon zest (if using). Cook for one minute to reduce juices then add the lemon juice and a few sprinkles of leftover parmesan cheese, if you like. 4. Adjust seasoning as needed. Stir in the remaining parsley. Return chicken over cauliflower rice and reheat quickly. Serve with fresh cracked black pepper, red chili pepper flakes, and more parmesan. #tbt to participating in a medical study at the #stanfordhospital for almost 7 consecutive years 🏨🏝 • • I used to get told “you’re so lucky, you get to go to California so often”. That made me angry because these trips were NOT vacation trips. Who wants to get stabbed with needles and sit in medical testing rooms while you’re on vacation? Not me. • • While the view was breathtaking and the weather was waay better than Canadian weather, I missed most of my last year of high school for these trips and had to invest more than $ 1,000 in upgrading because of these trips. • • This medical study lasted almost 7 years, so it became more of hassle than anything . I will admit though, during the minimal spare time we had, we got to do some tourist type things, which almost made up for the all testing. Here’s a #repost from the past that can represent the experience of many who’ve taken that leap to be their own boss 💪🏼 ・・・ ⭐️BOSTON PERSONAL TRAINERS⭐️ . . Here’s a story for you.... . . Trainer A works for a large chain gym. After about a year he’s doing pretty well...25 sessions a week, charging clients $130 an hour and getting paid $44. This time does not include the additional hours of doing work for his manager, mandatory staff meetings, or dreaded “floor shifts”. He makes roughly $4,400 a month, paid out to him biweekly from his company. . . Trainer B runs his own business. He charges clients $85 per hour. Since this lower price opens him up to more clients who can train more often, and who don’t need to belong to a certain gym to train, he can now average a solid 35 sessions per week. He does 1/2 his sessions in private homes and apartments, and 1/2 his sessions in the NSF Studios. He has no manger. After paying studio fees, makes roughly $10,200 per month, in cash. . . Both of these trainers work very hard. Both put in the early mornings and late nights. Both build their client base through referrals and personal marketing. One makes $52,800 a year. One makes $122,400. . . Week 8, day ✌️ Legs/HIIT✔️ . . . It's been a struggle and I have soooo many excuses for why I haven't been doing my liift4 workouts (when I only had 3 left 😛) but all of them are just EXCUSES...somehow I found the time to read my book, watch my TV shows, surf the web, check social media and do anything else I wanted to fill my time with. . . . I haven't been completely not working out the past two weeks. I've played some indoor soccer games (which are a killer workout), gone to crossfit a couple of times and start back doing some running. BUT, I haven't been consistent in doing anything which was my problem before starting Beachbody. And I fully believe that consistent is the key. . . . So, with all that said, here's 🥂 to starting to get back on the consistency train 🚂today and finding a way to incorporate my other activities while staying consistent✌️ . . . I'm totally proud of myself for getting this Leg/HIIT 50/50 workout in! It was hardddd especially after two weeks of not doing LIIFT4. I can definitely say that I couldn't have gotten through it without my pre-workout, ENERGIZE!😁

#tbt to 20 weeks ago, or 5mos ago, after having just started with #teamantabolic and my coach @antabolic for 2 weeks. All things considered, the picture on the left isn't bad, and I almost included my actual starting point last year to see how far I have come prior to signing on with Ant, but this shoutout is specifically for the work he and I have achieved in 22 weeks time. It has been one heck of journey I have not come close to half or quarter assing. _ Currently, I'm in a growth phase after doing body recomp for quite some time, and head to toe has improved drastically. However, my arms have always been a weak place for me. Sleeves during the summer because I hated how my arms looked. After my PICC line was taken out of my bicep for blood treatments, I hated them worse and my scar caused dimpling which looked like worse cellulite. I had put in so much work on my own, especially in my arms, that I became content with them prior to meeting Ant. Needless to say, I love them now!
