She hit 100 Sessions in less than a year!!! She is a true joy and always smiling when at boot camp! Sarah come to work hard and it has been paying off!! - When it comes to the gym and training , we all love it when we crush our goals - from seeing our body change, to lifting more and getting stronger , to getting leaner and toned. It’s an amazing feel! 🙌🙌 What we tend to forget is, we all started from the bottom. Literally think about your first day in the gym, remember that first time walking in and not knowing what to do. We all started there.
This whole industry is focused around Who is in better shape🏃🏻♂️, who can lift more🏋🏻♀️, who can smash a better workout🥇 ...which is good, healthy competition is a great motivation. BUT when you see someone new struggling or being hesitant or doing an exercise wrong: don’t sit and laugh at them, take the time and help them out, show them the right way, better them, be a good example, leave your ego at the door. Be Humble, that used to be you🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️. Those 2 minutes you take, can boost someone’s confidence and moral. It’s 2 Minutes out of your time, but it will help them in the long run. Messing up in this combo has made me reflect even more than usual. You know how sometimes you have a plan, but that plan doesn’t go in anyway way how you’d hoped? Sometimes you find something new, sometimes you get embarrassed or frustrated, and sometimes you learn to laugh it off. Surround yourself with the friends who will support you when you’re frustrated and make you laugh instead of feeling embarrassed. Posting this blooper since I always post the “better” videos. Need to remind myself to appreciate the growth we gain from mistakes, instead of getting embarrassed, upset with myself, or frustrated. As a teacher you’d think I’d be used to mistakes. I preach to my kids that ”mistakes are how we learn.” Yet I am so hard on myself whenever I do make a mistake. I’m such a perfectionist with myself, while with my students I hope for mistakes so we can discuss them and grow. I need to love myself as much as I love my students. Hopefully some of you connect with this idea of “mistakes are how we learn” and embrace your mistakes as we do with children and students. There’s always another path or door open. Isn’t exploring during a run one of the most fun things about running?! I love my go-to routes, but sometimes taking an unexpected turn or visiting a different area can lead to newfound exciting scenery or different challenging roads or paths. That’s one thing I love most about running when I’m not training for a race. I tend to do more exploring then and it’s always a fun adventure! No run today, of course, but I just love this suspension bridge and thought I’d share. ☺️ #runforfun

a) Leg Extensions (video 2) - first two sets of 15 reps, and then drop set the last two sets for 10 reps, 10 reps, 10 reps
b) DB Romanian Deadlift (vid 3) - 4x15
b) Bench Hop Overs (vid 4) - 4 x 30
c) DB Split Squats (vid 5) - 4 x 10/leg
c) Lying Hammie Curl (no video) - 4 x 12 to 15, drop set your last set until failure
d) KB Goblet Squat (vid 6) - 3 x 20
d) Leg Press (vid 7) - 3 sets x 20 (first 10 reps feet low and touching, last 10 reps feet wide and high)

Isometric Hamstring holds can help to correct imbalances between Quadricep and Hamstring strength where the Quad muscle is more developed than the Hamstring, as is often the case.
