Hoy hice arroz de Coliflor de dos maneras diferentes. ⠀ 1. La dejé sólo con kale. Salteado con un toque de aceite de Oliva, cebollin y ajo y ⠀ 2. You guys. I discovered the magic of air fryers! I made my regular chicken nuggets recipe and was so happy with the result. I only occasionally make nuggets the in the fry daddy because they’re greasy and make the whole house smell funky. (And they attract all the flies in the neighborhood to the window screens. So nasty.) I found my air fryer at Costco for $50. It works great, and I’m excited to experiment more! Has anyone made donuts in these? 👍 🐔 👍 🐔 👍 Here’s the recipe. Cube 1-2 chicken breasts into desired size chunks. Prepare 3 bowls for dipping the chunks. Dip in the following order ->>> . >>Bowl 1: ~1 cup flour, ~1/2 tsp seasoning salt, some pepper. . >>Bowl 2: 1 egg and ~2/3 cup milk . >>Bowl 3: 1-2 cups panko bread crumbs, 1/2 tsp each of garlic powder, seasoning salt, paprika . 10 minutes in the air fryer at 400 degrees (if you use big ol’ chunks like me, less time if smaller chunks). And yes, use flour first. It helps keep everything all pulled together. For the sauce, I threw together some pickle juice, ketchup, bbq sauce, and mayo and the crowd went wild. Women’s fitness can be tricky. We are taught from a young age that less food is better and that lifting weights are for the boys. Both are father from the truth! You CAN look better at a heavier “weight”. You DON’T have to starve yourself in order to lose weight. And NO, lifting weights will not make you bulky! In fact, the more muscle you can build the more efficient your body will run and the leaner you will become! Stop the “old school” thinking that dieting needs to equate to being hungry all the time. I promise you it doesn’t have to be! ✅Want to lose weight? Find your deficit. ✅Want to gain muscle? Pick up the weights and get on a progressional weight lifting program. Today I “werk” my booty😉. Do you workout everyday? How do you train your body? Are you only interested in going to a gym? What do you look for when you are looking to loose weight, or tone up?? Well..I was looking for something that incorporated weights, cardio, and easy meal plans that I could follow. Let me tell you, I never thought I would ever be working out in my home🤨. But... why not🤷🏻‍♀️. Why did it take me so long to find this. To realize that everything I was doing in the gym I could do in my home, on my time⏱. Let’s face it...we are all busy, and taking care of ourselves is usually the last on the list🤦🏻‍♀️. But our health, and sanity should be a priority👊🏻 so we can be our best for our families, and our busy schedules. Having this in my life, the support, and friendships I’ve made has made working out FUN. No longer stressing about when am I going to be able to get to the gym, or get out for a run. I know when it’s going to happen, I made a comment, and now it’s part of my routine. I’m happier, more productive, and I’m improving my health and body from the inside out everyday❤️ . This past week @dr_codyhaun and I made a fairly big change to my diet. We upped protein to 180 grams/day (2.5g/kg) and reduced carbs so that total calories remain unchanged at 1500. I’m feeling good about this already. #agingstrengthfully #wolverine #thebarbellsanctuary
I went against my own rules, and boy did I pay the price today...I took 3 days off from exercise, and I missed a Monday! I have no excuse...other than I was tired and sore from my self defense class...I didn’t even do much, but OT! 😬 Boy did I feel it today! 27 minutes of sweat, and my balance was way off! It was not my best workout at all, but it was a workout,I pushed play and I got myself going! It’s going to be a great day! 💪💕👊 I missed my therapy...it’s so needed in my life...that little bit of time each day does wonders for my mind, body and spirit! I NEED this! 😊 What will you do today for YOU?! Will it be a workout? Perhaps some personal development? A book club? Time with friends?! Day 2 #Fall4Transformation Today we are talking about how to change your energy! I am a very sensitive and intuitive person, so you can imagine how much I used to get drained by everything that happens around me! Sometimes your frame of mind is just perfect, you are just on your positive vibe. And then come the energy vampires... oh believe me, they exist! Sometimes is just a quick word and you notice that there is something disturbing all that balance that you so carefully created! So, shake it out!!!! Headstands are the best for me. Sometimes the change on the energy is caused by your OWN negative thoughts too. So you can reverse it and clear your mind. There is a powerful feeling behind inversions, it is like sometimes to become another being, it brings out for me that childhood feeling of playing of being “something else”, but with a strong focus and strength at the same time. When the adrenal glands are flushed and detoxified with headstands, we create more positive thought. Depression will decrease, as going upside down will almost always put a smile on your face.
