Been practicing my sketch up skills. I’m trying to be more professional and give my Clients a 3D model of what they are paying for. Doing this allows them to better visualize the finish product and also allows them to see my take on the build as well. I still have a lot to learn, but so far, so good!
Here’s my trick for making box joint cutting suck a little less. Tape all the pieces that will have the same box joint pattern together and cut them as one piece. This makes things WAY quicker and also helps with getting them more uniform. With this method I only have to cut the box joints twice: once for the longer sides and another for the top and bottom.
