One of my favorite persons in the world: Rona. She’s years younger than me but her perception and understanding of how the world works, truly inspires me.
She is one of the exceptional proof that wisdom doesn’t vary on age. It varies on our experiences and how we face our challenges.
At such a young age, she already acquired 3 insurance policies. Yes, you read that right — T H R E E. She experienced first hand on why we need it. Why it is called protection and why we needed to start young.
At this age in time, Y.O.L.O. is the motto of the generation. The absence of financial savings has been a norm and living in the moment is the trend. Don’t you think that the one life we have is also a life that we share with our loved ones?
Welcome Rona, to the Philam Life Family! ♥️
Want to be Y.O.L.O. and secured at the same time? Usap tayo.

Great to have one of my articles featured on social enterprise LV31's website headed up by the exceptionally talented freelance proofreader @pearlmade_
. In chapter 5 of my book, I speak about the importance of having financial discipline. I encourage mentees to be wise with their finances and I certainly live this out myself whether that's in relation to income from consulting, mentoring, book sales, property etc
The article is structured as a spiritual encouragement and is definitely a good read irrespective of faith alignment. Do get the book though😉

ahh credit cards.. I don’t hate them. These are the 7 credit cards I own that have 0 balances on them. The one I use isn’t pictured because it’s in my wallet. My Target isn’t pictured because that one closed down due to inactivity (thank God!) ..I know a lot of people in the #debtfreecommunity
dislike using them, but I still use my Citibank one because it has rewards. I pay it off every month. Occasionally, I MIGHT use my Ulta one for the double points. I don’t like when people say “oh you NEED to use credit cards to build credit”.. like okay, use it once in a while but don’t fucking buy the whole aisle 4 in Target.. lol but I’m not perfect & did make many mistakes of going on shopping sprees with these things. I remember one time I looked at the $700 balance when I was 19 years old & wondered.. HOW THE HELL DO I PAY THIS lol, I was only making $14/hour & had a high car payment. Credit cards are great if you know how to use them & I’m glad I have some discipline now. #debtfreecommunity #debtfreejourney #debtfreeliving #debtisdumb #financialfreedom #financialstability #frugalliving #frugallivinginCA #frugal #fitandfrugal #babystep2 #babystep3 #savingup #housefund #downpayment
I already have a bunch of credit cards I don’t use (I only use 1 from my main bank - Citibank).. well, today I am getting all my stuff ready for an academy I am attending. I realized I am missing something for my uniform & FREAK OUT. It’s Sunday & everything is closed early! I go online to search Amazon to see if I can get 2 day shipping because I’m sure I won’t need it on the first day. Well, I don’t have Amazon Prime anymore. So I have to pay $20 JUST FOR 2 DAY SHIPPING! I’m so upset. Then I saw a little text on the screen that said “Get $40 off when you get approved for the Amazon store card”.... ya girl did it. Desperate times call for desperate measures. I will probably never use that card when it comes in the mail. But hey, I got $40 off so that’s cool I guess. My credit score always seems to drop a little whenever I get a new credit card though.. 🤦🏻♀️ SIGH. #debtfreecommunity #debtfreejourney #debtfreeliving #debtisdumb #financialfreedom #financialstability #frugalliving #frugallivinginCA #frugal #fitandfrugal #babystep2 #babystep3 #savingup #housefund #downpayment
Your MONEY MINDSET TASK for this week is to start allocating some of your income into a ‘not to be touched’ saving’s account.
Decide for yourself how much you’re going to put into that account - we suggest a % percentage of everything you earn rather than an actual amount - and do it religiously from now on. It doesn’t matter how small the amount is, what is important us the act of putting money aside automatically and committing to that process no matter what.
If you are an employee, you might want to ask your employer to transfer a portion of your earnings into your savings account. If you own your business then you may want to set up an automatic transfer.
Remember, the actual amount you save isn’t of importance here. This task is meant to instill a positive money mindset habit that will serve you very well in the long run.

One thing about me: I LOVE movies 🎥There was a time in my life (when I was single and tinder didn’t exist yet 😂) that I would watch 2 movies on Friday night and 2 movies on Saturday night. Every weekend 🍿
I love movies so much that I have favourites based on the genres. My favourite action movie is The Dark Knight 🦇and my favourite comedy movie is a tie between Superbad and Step Brothers 😂

Do you throw out your “empty" oil bottles? STOP!!!
I save all of my empties in a zip-loc bag. Then when I have several (or a lot) I gather together oils that I feel will work well together. I separate them into different groups, and place them in a jar of Epsom salts along with the caps and the plastic whatchamacallit. I make sure to push the bottles down into the Epsom salt and then I will put the top on my jar and give a gentle shake.
The Epsom salt will absorb those tiny droplets of oil from the “empty” bottles and make heavenly bath salts! You can leave them in the jar to absorb for however long you want. I usually give it about a week or whenever I run out of the bath salts I’m currently using. When you’re ready to use it, just rinse out the bottles etc. into your running bath water and pour some of that delicious smelling, oil infused Epsom salt into the tub.
Today’s creation includes Spearmint, Valor, Grapefruit, Forgiveness, Inner Child, Peppermint, Faith and Bergamot. Oh.my.gosh! It was truly heavenly!
Here’s the best part! Soaking for at least 20 minutes will relax you, relieve sore muscles and strengthen your immune system to help prevent sickness. YASSSS!
