What goals can we smash this week?!
I achieved two NSV this morning! I know I said I didn’t have a time limit to my running goal, but I honestly thought it was going to take months so slowly building up to my first two goals.
My first goal was to run for 5 minutes without stopping so that I knew what it felt like, the second was to run for a km without stopping for the same reason, and then work on running a km in 5 minutes.
Welp, this morning I achieved both! And for the first time, this overall goal seems achievable!
I’ve had some up and downs on this journey so far, but that’s life. Coming back up from the downs is actually something I really enjoy. This is usually when I achieve something new or surprise myself on the scales! These are the days that I say “fuck it” and just go or do something, or they’re the days when I ask myself “how much more can I do?”
Today was a “how much more can I do?” day, just also a day where I kepy telling myself, just breathe. If I keep breathing properly, how far can I go?

Definitely have not been moving enough for what I eat, working on getting back on track.
Today has been productive though. Went through a bunch of stuff in the shed and garage and found the bodystat stuff I had been looking for. I’m so close to getting back to what I weight when I was 21, which still wasnt great, but its definitely something to strive toward. Along with the bodystat info was a training program and food log I was given when I used to work at a pool. I almost threw it out, but looking back at what I was eating in 2011, I thought it could be interesting to do a comparison.
Additionally, I found a card that contained all my PBs for swimming. I am so far off those times, but at least I have something to train toward! We also found a bunch of my dads old training programs so it’ll be awesome to see what becomes of all of that!

This week, I discovered I can get away without meal prepping. With Sunday being spent at the beach, I left meal prepping to Monday. Only... it never happened. I hit Subway up for lunch on Monday and had more than enough time in the mornings to make something. So I’ve been having left over chicken from Sunday nights dinner with salad. That lasted me two days. Last night was also meant to be a meal prep night for the last two days of the week. So using the time I have in the mornings, I made some little egg cups that’ll get me through the rest of the week plus extras and salad to go with it.
Long story short- for someone who hated meal prep to start off, it certainly does make things easier!
