Yep. I'm a bit puffy from bad food, dehydration, and depression, but you know what? I'm back in my habit as of today and nothing is going to slow me down. Solstice is on Friday and I can already feel good things coming. This is the upswing.
Just completed my first 5 AM workout. I did three workouts last week but none were 5 AM. This is my first full week of workouts and I’m going to stick with 5 AM as much as I can because I want to start my days the right way. I’ve been working a lot on my internal mindset recently. Going through a divorce and my recent battle with depression (I’ve battled it intermittently for a long time) has kept my mind thinking about better ways to take care of myself and be a better person overall...for me. A big problem with my mindset for a long time has been I’ve done things for other people, and made their opinions of me my motivation, and that’s been a huge mistake. I’m doing things for myself now, and I’m finally reverting back to the default mindset which I had when I was a kid, before my parents, society and culture started influencing me: I don’t care what other people think of me. This was my default as a kid and my mother especially would tell me “You should care,” but as I’ve gotten older, the only thing caring about other people’s opinions has done is make me miserable. If you’re suffering from depression or anxiety or feel like you have low self-esteem, as I have for a long time, I really want to encourage you to dig deep and find out where that’s coming from, and if you feel you need help, there’s no shame in therapy but keep in mind it may take some trial and error to find a therapist that works for you, so be patient. I go to my therapist every other week. For me, it’s a battle each day to keep a positive mindset and tell myself I don’t care about other people’s opinions, because I have for so long. This is always going to be a struggle but it’s worth it because I’m happier. And you all are WORTH IT too. Please fight for your happiness!

Probably the most studied and most effective supplement in the fitness industry. Creatine is a molecule that is naturally found in the body and is used for ATP (energy) production in high intensity exercise.
Studies have shown that creatine supplementation increases muscle mass, strength and power output. This occurs due to the creatine content saturation in the muscle. Creatine also increases water retention but note that this is only inside the muscle and not subcutaneously, which will visually make your muscles look fuller.
Long term studies have found creatine as a safe compound to use, although people with pre-existing kidney issues should consult their physician before use. Studies have shown no effect on kidney function in healthy adults.
Integration: Dosage is important in order to maximize the benefits that creatine has to offer. Suggested use: Load with 20g per day for a week with 5g per day for maintenance thereafter. Note that the loading phase is not necessary, but it will help you reach creatine saturation faster so you’ll start to notice its effects quicker.

Well my son has been talking about wanting to lift too. So with it being Christmas. I totally bought me..I mean him a Home Gym for Christmas! STFU! Don't judge me! It still counts, even if I'm gonna use the fk out of it too! 🤣 It's a PowerTec Workbench Multi-System. It's pretty badass! Planning on putting it together next weekend. Unfortunately that means cleaning out My garage and organizing all of my tools that I have strategically scattered all over it 😬 Anyways, I'll post a pic or two of it once I get it set up! Din ce in ce mai multe doamne gravide inteleg importanta majora a unei alimentatii SANATOASE si ECHILIBRATE in timpul sarcinii.
Am intalnit tot felul de cazuri in care doamnele gravide faceau foamea ( de frica kilogramelor ) sau dimpotriva mancau fara masura sub pretextul ca "cere sarcina" ca apoi sa se trezeasca cu probleme medicale legate de sarcina si cu depresii legate de kilograme.
Pentru ca sarcina sa decurga in conditii optime, pentru ca mama sa nu ia in plus kilograme mai multe decat este necesar, pentru a evita alte probleme legate de sarcina, pentru ca laptele sa aiba o calitate buna si sa fie cat mai nutritiv, o alimentatie corecta este obligatorie.
ATENTIE : alimentatie sanatoasa, NU dieta !
Clientele mele au 4 mese pe zi. 4 mese foarte gustoase, care arata foarte bine si care nu sunt altceva decat o mancare sanatoasa in cantitatea si la ora potrivita !
Clienta mea de astazi a apelat la mine in luna a 5 a de sarcina.
1 - mânca haotic iar kilogramele deja se stransesera in numar foarte mare. Ajunsese la 82 kg
2 - clienta mea avea diabet gestational
3 - era lipsită de energie si nu se putea odihni cum trebuie.
4 - retentie de apa
După ce am discutat cu ea toate aspectele necesare, m-am apucat sa ii fac programul iar clienta mea a fost încântată sa înceapă un nou stil de viață. După foarte putin timp a început să se simtă energică și motivată, a dat chiar si cateva kilograme jos iar problemele de sănătate s-au ameliorat treptat.
Vizitele constante la medic au arătat o dezvoltare perfecta a sarcinii iar clienta mea a reusit sa NU mai ia deloc in greutate.
Imediat după ce a născut, a ajuns la greutatea de dinainte de sarcina iar acum păstrează acelasi stil sănătos de viață.

PLEASE SHARE IT MIGHT HELP SOMEONE!! As you all know I'm in the middle of a relapse with my Multiple Sclerosis, I can't complain I've gone from relapsing 3/4 times a year to starting Juice Plus and now having my first in 20 months... so how goods that?? I no longer have the daily symptoms that you have living with a nasty progressive disease BUT then all of sudden it hits you hard and your back living with everything all over again!! I'm always a positive person it's my way of dealing with the disease, i put my make up on and plaster a big smile on my face to hide the horrendous pain and discomfort I'm currently suffering. I'm working only 4 hours but those for hours are so difficult but I do it for my students and to try and keep me a bit active. Relapses are nasty I'm walking with a stick, having spasms, suffering fatigue and am in constant pain day and night with no pain relief.
Over the last 24 hours I have had 3 Steroid Infusions, my treatment anti sickness drugs, stomach protection drugs and it's taken it toll and body is in bits. Why am I telling you all this my reason is I WILL NEVER GIVE UP FIGHTING and will not let MS control my life!! YES I am in a bad place at the moment and I'm struggling but it's time to be finally honest what it's like instead of hiding what it's actually like.
JP has given me the confidence to do that who would of though by filling my body with a natural product could have such a massive impact on this disease. Speaking and telling my story to other people has changed me as a person... so I'm begging you!! If you are not happy in your life! if you are struggling depressed It's time to take a hard look at your life and make the change!! TLDR: Stop making excuses and just do it💪
A friend asked me how I find time to workout and I told them I’m at the gym by 0430 everyday, they laughed and told me I was crazy 🤯 I mean I get it, when @excusesruseless
told me that she could train me if I was willing to commit to a 0430 slot I pretty much told her the same thing: no fucking way! And then I did it; I rearranged my morning routine, I started going to bed earlier, and I learned to appreciate the value of preworkout🤪. Their response was that there’s no way they could do that because they just don’t have the time. Ummm, HELLO?!?! Why the fuck do you think I wake up so early? It’s because I know any other time during the day I legit don’t have the time to commit myself fully to something without frequent disruptions due to my schedule. I’m the mother to a beautiful and rambunctious 4 year old, I work full-time, I actively volunteer, and until recently I was also a full time grad student with a 4.0 GPA (so thankful that’s done with now 😂). So while my days are incredibly busy, I knew that I wasn’t doing anything at that god-awful hour except sleeping so I jumped and now almost 2 years later I’m still up hitting the gym while my family is sleeping😴 As I tried explaining this I realized that the idea of it is crazy. But I also realized that saying “I don’t have time” is just another excuse that people (myself included) use to make them feel better about not doing something. I do recognize that there are some situations where you have to say no to something because you are already stretched thin (no, I cannot bring 34 gluten and nut free cookies to preschool tomorrow), but overall this “I don’t have time” mentality is just a cop out in my opinion👌It’s the adult version of “the dog ate my homework.” Instead of sitting and complaining of not having time, try and find the time. If it means waking up stupid early, do it; sacrifice your lunch break for an hour of uninterrupted you time; stay up an hour later to squeeze in whatever it is you want to be doing. Just fucking do it; it’s so much easier once you find the courage to start💯

🍑There’s no food out there that we MUST have or else the fat monster injects itself into us and we start to balloon up with no control and our family and friends can’t recognize us by tomorrow.

🍑However our body does have certain nutrition needs on a daily basis. Carbs (yes carbs), fats, protein, vitamins & minerals and all that jazz. It’s unnecessary to look up the exact numbers we need as eating a diet that’s mainly made up of a variety of nutrient rich whole foods is usually more than enough.
🍑Y’know, the whole 80/20 thing.
🍑Make sure we’re getting some kind of protein in most of our meals, a variety of fruits & veggies does wonders, and remember to hydrate throughout the day. That’s pretty much it.
🍑Hate oranges? Sure, have an apple. Apple also no good? Go for some melons. There’s no food that you “must have or else!”
🍑Are there some foods that have more nutrients than others? Of course! But pick your favorites and it’s not going to matter. Eating a fruit that has slightly less nutrients than another consistently is better than eating the super nutrient rich food you hate inconsistently.
🍑It comes back to figuring out what you enjoy the most, and sticking to it.
🍑Weight loss, health, it’s a long long game. There’s no rush to figure everything out by the end of the day.
