: Matthew 5.
Creations that last give honor where it’s due, despite how much it hurts. Those who don’t honor work righteously, only dishonor themselves.
If we trust God, and focus on right regard, we end up with less hardship in long term. If our focus in compensation is on how we feel, we end up regretting it.
The man who justifies not paying people for fear they can’t be trusted, will find himself without people, a business, and/or a good reputation.
If we hog credit of what rightfully was the work of many, it is natural for people to not desire to work with us in the future. It is why Abraham paid for the tomb full price, despite it being offered as a gift to him.
A man who regards work, will find himself among loyal employees & trusted friends/colleagues.
The more control we take and seek to justify, the more we actually lose.
All fall short, but that is no excuse to force control. Our viewpoint is also flawed. Trust God, but don’t seek to be him. Notice when your spirit is unsettled.
Truth is rarely uncovered in anger, as anger seeks to justify itself. Love seeks understanding. When understanding is reached, it brings peace.
If we have a fault, we cannot see it in anger. Humility leads the heart to open and for truth to come out.
If people view us as desiring to decide how things are, they will fear speaking the truth if they are at fault, and fear more telling the truth if we are at fault.
If we silence those who disagree, we will find ourselves among sycophants...none seeking truth or to protect.
