Enjoying the early weeks of training🙌 I used to run almost daily at a moderate pace because it was (and still is!) my FAV pace. I wanted to feel like I was getting a pretty decent workout on every run. Operating at 90% led me to burnout - I began to feel exhausted all the time, never truly recovered, and eventually became injured. I will literally never progress in the marathon if I go back to training in that zone. I would just be restarting the cycle of overtraining🙅‍♀️ 10 mile run this morning at 2:30 slower than GMP.
