It is not "smoker's cough" it is "stoner's cough"? I was asked a question in my DMs and thought I would post about it.
QUESTION:"Have you had a problem, with "stoners cough" if so, how do I avoid it?" I myself experience stoner's cough from time to time, especially in the colder months. I love smoking joints and bowls but I find myself with this dry and irritating cough that seems to linger for a few days. Cannabis is combustible organic material so it only makes sense that you will experience a cough once in a while. Thankfully, cannabis is nowhere near as damaging as tobacco smoke but still, you will experience some irritation in your bronchial tubes and lungs. #chronicstoner
SO! How to combat Stoner's cough? 🍫Switch it up! I love joints but there are so many other methods to choose from. If you suffer from asthma or just can't/don't want to smoke, try edibles or tinctures, even capsules. Vapes have been said to be less irritating compared to lighting a joint or bowl. Switching it up will also keep your tolerance from leveling out. 🍯Honey! When I have a coughing fit, I drink my favourite herbal tea with a spoon full of honey, Oh! and of course, I add @Nuceutra #BALANCE #CBDISLIFE
helps soothe my cough and is sooo good for you! #herbaltea #honey #CBD
🌱Something new I incorporated into my joint smoking experience is wooden filters. It cuts back on waste, the hit is smoother and so much tastier! Check out @rolling.stick
🔥Another thing that I do is use hemp wicks ( I posted about this 7 posts ago) in short inhaling butane can cause respiratory issues among other things (see posts)

What do you do to combat Stoner's cough? ☝🏼One last thing I forgot to mention! I gurgle and wash my hands after I smoke. #everytime #germaphobe
