We went to the beach on Friday along with the aquarium and visiting UNCW. It was quite beautiful! I can now say I've been to the beach on the west coast and east coast of the U.S. and the beach in Europe. So sad I'm going home today.
Went to Frankie's today.... It's kind of equivalent to a Boomers in Cali. Super cute and fun! Did a ropes course, mini golf, and a couple rounds in the batting cages. I forgot how much I loved going to the batting cages.
So. I'm emotional right now. We said goodbye to the little yellow house on fox and hello to our new apartment. Although I have a lot of stories and experiences in this house I NEVER thought I would have an emotional bond to it. But then again, who am I kidding? Of course I do. Haha!
Every day is a new adventure. For the last 5 years (even before we became a couple) we would go anywhere or try new things, each time I would ask him "can I say 'it'?" And he would be really hesitant or sigh but he would say yes. Then I would throw my hands in the air and say: "its an ADVENTURE!"
Tonight as we got into the car one last time, I had been holding back tears and before we turned off our street I asked him if I could say it. His response, "why? it's not an adventure"
I answered: "everything is an adventure". And with that he hesitated and told me I could say it. With this new place I hope to fill with love, glitter, pom poms and cat hair. Sorry for the really long post. Holy moley! Haha!
