Almost 2 weeks into prep and I’m seeing little changes more and more already 😍
These changes may seem insignificant now, but in 16 weeks when I am able to look back at where I started, all those small changes will come together and show just how much work I put into this one moment.
I saw this caption from @clairepthomas
and it really hit home for me so I wanted to share some of it with you guys💓:
“Building confidence is just like building muscles- the more you use your confidence, the stronger you become. You have to work for it and learn to be uncomfortable... Confidence is something you have to create within yourself by believing in who you are. If you do not value yourself, believe in your powers and have faith in your abilities, it’ll start to show. People will start to treat you the way you perceive yourself as.” That last sentence really got to me, because I’ve noticed a difference in the last few years in how I carry myself and how others see me based on my own perception of myself. Day by day, one uncomfortable, yet liberating moment at a time, I’m learning to be confident with ME.
We all start somewhere, like anything else- it’s a marathon not a sprint.
Ready to crush the rest of this prep and see just how far I can push those comfort zones 💪🏼 in and out of the gym.
