••October reminds us to balance ••
❗️ Want to look taller instantly? Stand up straight.
✖️Good posture helps you instantly look better and feel better about yourself. The bundle of muscles that line up along your spine can help you build that tall, confident appearance. These erector spinae muscles flex the torso and help to hold your body upright.
✖️A back-strengthening workout that includes back flexion exercises will also help to build awareness of these muscles in order to prevent slouching and hunching over.
✖️Latt Pull Down 4/12,12,10,10
✖️Seated Cable Rows. Each arm 3/10. Two arms to fatigue with each set 3/5
✖️Rope Lat pull down 4/15,15,12,12

Do this every day for 11 days.
Close your eyes. Comfortable seated position. Make sure you are comfortable above all else.
Say out loud “Sa” as you touch your thumb to the tip of your index finger.
“Ta” as you touch your thumb to middle finger tip.
(About 1 second per syllable)
Repeat for 3 minutes,
Then strong whisper for 3minutes.
Then silently chant internally, continuing fingers, for 6 minutes.
Then whisper for 3 min.
Then out loud for 3min.
If you can get an interval timer app on your phone it will make a sound every 3 min so you don’t have to open your eyes to check time. You may work your way up to 5/10min intervals.
Fix eyes up towards third eye.
The best time to practice is before sunrise or before sunset.
Keep your eye on the prize.

two different lightings (one taken outside and one inside) both pics looking good 💕
🔹HANDSTAND PUSH-UPS | One of my first times doing these for reps so they’ll get cleaner, but this is a great deltoid exercise. The calisthenics equivalent to the free weight shoulder press. It does take some time to get the balance and pushing strength to be able to do the handstand push-up, but it’s definitely a great move to bring out the shoulders and balance you out. Plus, there are great health benefits to going upside down ⬇️🤸🏻♂️
Come and hangout 😄. Upside down (if you haven’t already noticed) is a HUGE part of my practice! It creates amazing blood flow while challenging your strength AND fears! When I show my clients they are getting upside down today I can see the nerves they are hiding🙈 But in a safe and controlled way with a professional (me 😜) this is the time and place! Step outside your comfort zone 🚧 learn about your body 🧠 and get your blood flowing🌡!!! Come hang out with me! Upside down⬇️⬇️⬇️!!!
I’m not going to sugar coat it, sometimes it’s hard getting to the gym. There are days I don’t feel like going but when I am having one of those days, that is when I need it most. Making it to my work out will change my mindset, and my mind will change my body. So I just show up, even if I have no idea what I want to do. Show up and don’t give up! .
! Tonight is that rare event when all four major sports are playing on the same night. There is even college football in the mix. It’s a good night to have a good night, Fall is the best!
We are all mirrors, and what we see in others reflects what we see inside ourselves ✨
Crushed week 5, day 2! 💦 Abs are starting to “pop” again and I’m feeling lean as a bean! 💪🏻 Here’s a topic That’s been on my mind: MONEY + cost of fitness because it’s a sticking point for soooo many of us ☺️ I’ve done both sides of the coin 👉🏻 EXPENSIVE AF (SoulCycle, Birman yoga, fancy gym and personal training) and FREE (YouTube, old DVDs, the interwebz) and guess what? Neither worked for me! 😂
The middle road did 😉The missing link wasn’t to spend more money or NO money (because let’s face it, you can definitely get fit for free but if it were that easy, everyone would be doing it!) 🖖🏻 it was to do something in a format I’d never tried before. On my own terms but not on my OWN 👯♀️
I joined my first challenge group and found the missing link was having a holistic fitness solution & plan that was flexible, worked for my busy life, having a coach available to mentor me, and a community to help track & keep me accountable on the reg 🤸♀️ I didn’t get that at the lonely gym. I def didn’t get it from that random “bridal butt” workout series I googled one time 😂
I realized that I could spend $13/mo on average to work out at home with master trainers (and have a ton of options) and that was a perfect happy medium for me!! 💕 Even If I never bought another supplement or extra for the whole year, $160 would be my grand total 🙌🏻 Worth it!
Investing in yourself doesn’t mean your life savings. It just means having a little skin in the game ✨
It’s okay to feel stuck.
It’s okay to feel like you’re making constant mistakes.
It’s okay to not really know who you are.
It’s okay to want to stop in your tracks and reevaluate EVERY aspect of your life, including those you revolve yourself around.
Something I’ve learned after graduating college is that this “adulting” thing is a process. YOUR own process.
A process that you can continually build up, remodel, and then break down if you’re not satisfied....And you don’t have to listen to anyone with a negative opinion on it and if you’re doing things right or not.
That’s beauty of every uncertain feeling/situation you may have and not listening to the opinions of others. You have an opportunity to turn around every challenge you’re facing and mold it into ANYTHING you want.
Five different jobs in two years. Three entire career switches. So much uncertainty. So much doubt in the process. Lately, if I gave myself the chance, I would cry every single day from how happy I am. From the decisions I’ve made to who Im constantly trying to mold myself into. Every countless hour I’ve spent in uncertainty and taken action on, not knowing where it may lead, beyond worth it.
Your process is YOURS, and yours alone. Don’t give up on those uncertain feelings and trust them. They pave your direction in so many ways. They show you who’s meant to stay in your life and who you might need to leave behind.
I promise you have some kind of purpose in this life, and it’s okay if you’re not sure what that is yet. You deserve to know who you are without constantly listening to the noise around you.
You deserve to push yourself through those tough days of uncertainty and understand that they play a HUGE role in who you’re becoming and what you’re made for.
Don’t ever settle for mediocre.
Don’t ever give up on you.

Here goes nothing, half a decade in the making. In less than 24 Hours, I'll embark onto the Kokoro Camp, run by Mark Divine and Sealfit. The event is a 50 hour crucible challenge meant to replicate the hardest hours of Hell Week into a weekend designed to grind down your limitations to the absolute bone. Once you've hit the end of your rope, you find something inside you can't buy, only earn. As the old saying goes, a powerful why will get you through any how. In this post, I want to share my why. Take from it what you want and let your own purpose guide you and your slice of the world to new heights. Almost a decade ago, I had no real purpose or deeper meaning to my life. Just your every day basic bro party rocking his way through college. When I delved deep into myself, I thought of the following simple thought: "Bring out the best in yourself, in order to bring out the best in other people." When people see success, they don't see the struggle, the dark underbelly of what you fought through to make it to the top. For as many things I can hang my hat on, I've had so many more things that I've fallen short. For years, I was ruled by the fear of risk, failure. I thought I could save my pride by avoiding the things that scare me (or could). I've gotten fired, told I would never succeed in my industry, hit with depression, injured, demoralized, lasted through rough living situations. I found out I had a brother in law and that he died in the span of a 30 second phone call. The past year especially was full of L's. I've been heart broken, poor, over extended, demoralized and injured. And yet, I'm still here standing, batting 1.000 against the BS. In the past, I've let these setbacks derail and discourage me. No more. Breaking myself down will give me the stable foundation I need to be a better man, co worker, influencer and part of my community, so that I can use that to make my own slice of the world a better place.
Am I afraid? Are there risks and danger? You bet. Real courage lies in facing them head on, not sitting on the sideline, waiting for the right moment or for you to get out of your own way.
Putting all my chips on the table. Lets get weird. 👊
Just trying to do my best @michaelcvazquez
impression. One day I’ll be able to bust out 10 in a row 💪. (Bailed on the last one because I thought I was gonna face plant 🤣) Triple clap push-up: ✅ (kind of lol) 📹: @breetalay
