How often do you get out of your comfort zone? Do you challenge yourself at least once per day to do something that makes you uncomfortable? Here's a list of things that you can try to take your mental game to the next level:
- cold showers
- 10-minute steam rooms
- no snoozing / get out of bed within 5-seconds - fasting for 16 hours
- eliminating word fillers "um, like, ah" - morning workouts 4/5/6ams
- double days - read 30-90 minutes - volunteer 2/hrs per week
- take a class you've never taken (yoga, Pilates, spin, barre, kick boxing)
- meditation and/or breath work
- toastmasters (public speaking)
- wake up 2-hours before you have to be to work
YOU WANT TO KNOW A LITTLE SECRET.....?!!!! I used to think that I needed to workout out for hours a day and restrict myself from my favorite foods to achieve my health and fitness goals.
I am here to tell you that you don’t have to be this perfect person to get those results! Balance is KEY!!! I let myself enjoy a cookie , or two if I’m craving it because I know that I will make healthier decisions because I don’t feel deprived.
I workout 4 times a week for 30 min, I eat foods I love, watch my portions and really allow myself to enjoy life.

I love a good Monday night workout! It’s nice to burn off any stress right at the start of your work week. I think that’s why I bookend my workweek with workouts because I don’t want to carry any stress with me into the weekend either. Have been enjoying more variety in my workouts lately—feeling good about the results. I definitely feel stronger and lighter. #equinox #barre #health #fitness

Only three weeks left of Mass 1 and I finally figured out how to take a video; I am going to say it’s because we’ve been having too much fun and not because I am terrible at internet-ing.
