BLOWDRY BOOTCAMP PT. 1
Let’s talk about styling. More specifically- blow drying! Raise ya hand if you have trouble with this 🙋🏻♀️ yeaaaaa, that’s a lotta hands. Well what if i told you that I’ve been working on a 3 part series that will dive into ALL of the blowdry tips and tricks to get ya styling ur hair like a PRO?? 🤓 sounds good right?
Today I’m gonna talk about hair dryer TOOLS. A question that i am often asked is “do i really need to use that nozzle thingy?” And the answer is.... YES! This nozzle is the key to a smooth blowdry. I love the @unite_hair
dryer for many reasons, but one of them is because it comes with two different nozzles, each for a different hair texture! If you have fine hair, you’ll reach for the thinner nozzle & if you have thick &/or coarse hair you’ll use the thicker nozzle. It’s awesome. And will set you up for success, which could mean a quicker sleeker blowdry or a more voluminous and smooth end result.
Another question i get asked is how to use a diffuser attachment. I love this attachment so much because almost anyone can use it! Most people use this tool to style curly hair textures, but it’s also really great for revamping some day old beachy waves. Here are two ways to use this tool:
1️⃣ FOR CURLY HAIR: after scrunching in your products (Boing Moisture Curl Cream + Lazer Straight from @unite_hair
are my faves!), attach the diffuser to the blow dryer & set to medium heat + low air. Tip head to the side and gently scrunch hair into the diffuser. Do this for a few seconds until moving onto the next section. Try not to touch and scrunch the hair with your hands as this will often create more frizz. Flip head upside down to dry if you like big hair 😏
2️⃣ FOR STRAIGHT/WAVY HAIR: revamp your day old waves by spritzing some salt spray (Beach Day is my go to) all over the hair and then use the diffuser to scrunch the hair a few times for piecey wavy texture! Finish with a dry texture spray (Texturiza is the 💣)

Come back next week for Part 2! I will talk about how to choose the correct products for your hair type + what size/style of brushes to use 🤓
