☮️Este Post lo hago porque considero que es importante compartir que experimenté una dieta sin proteínía animal durante 2 años. Luego de análisis de sangre y orina detectaron que tenía deficiencia de Vit B12. Es por eso que es necesario que leas esta información y si podés compartila..
☮️Sí eliges no consumir proteína animal: SÍ O SÍ consulta con tu médico o nutricionista que siga esta línea y que te recete un suplemento sintético de vit b12. Existen distintas formas: comprimidos, gotas, inyecciones, spray. Investiga sobre la Vit B12 análoga. Puede que tus análisis salgan bien pero igualmente tengas deficiencias. Sí o sí necesitas pedir: Dosaje en sangre de vit B6, B9, B12 y homocisteína. Y en orina: nivel de AMM (ácido metil malónico)
☮️La Vit B12 no es producida ni por animales, ni por plantas. La producen bacterias que se encuentran sobre o dentro de ellos. Algunas se encuentran en el aparato digestivo de los animales y el ser humano la ingiere al consumir carnes, leche, huevos y sus derivados.
☮️Los alimentos vegetales están libre de VIt B12 activa a menos que estén contaminados con estos microorganismos ( generalmente por origen fecal)
☮️Los alimentos vegetales que contienen Vitamina B12 como la espirulina, la clorela, las algas de mar, la levadura nutricional o productos fermentados de la soja (tempeh, miso); contienen la Vit B12 análoga que impide la absorción de la Vit B12 activa.
☮️Dentro de algunas corrientes como el higienismo, se sostiene que el ser humano podría cubrir sus necesidades de Vit B12 con su propia producción, ya que la sintetizamos en el colon. Pero el aprovechamiento de esta es mínimo ya que se produce en el intestino grueso y la absorción fisiológica de la vitamina es en el ileón, intestino delgado; lo cual determina que prácticamente su totalidad sea eliminada por las heces.

Overhead pressing proficiency is the lost element in a majority of bodybuilding and strength training programmes. Too much emphasis is placed on the bench press, particularly for athletes.
The press is the most useful upper body exercise for sports conditioning, primarily because it’s not just an upper body exercise. Except for powerlifting and swimming, all sports that require the use of upper body strength transmit that force along a kinetic chain that starts at the ground. Anytime an athlete transmits force to an object, that force starts at the feet against the ground. In a press, the kinetic chain- the components of The musculoskeletal system involved in the production and transmission of force between the base of support and the load being moved- starts at the ground and ends at the bar in the hands.
Training the overhead press offers many advantages:
1. Excellent form of overload to build shoulders, traps and triceps.
2. One of the best ways to get a huge bench press is to train overhead pressing strength. Due to various inhibition mechanisms your bench progress is often stalled until you spend time on the overhead press.
3. Training OH pressing strength can improve long term shoulder health. Training only the bench press pathway is often the cause of many shoulder issues because the subscapularis muscle becomes shortened and puts pressure on the shoulder joint.
4. OH pressing is a great conditioner for the lower back and other core muscles. It’s also a great diagnostic tool for a strength coach/ PT. For example, a weak lower back become obvious during the performance of the OH press.
As a general rule, the more of the body involved in an exercise the better the exercise. The press produces strength in the trunk muscles- abs, obliques, costals, and back- as well as in the shoulders and arms. It trains the whole body to balance while standing and pressing with a heavy weight in the hands and overhead. It uses more muscles and more central nervous system activity than any other upper body exercise. And it produces more force in a useful direction than the bench press.

Throwing it back to two weeks ago when I wasn’t swollen from a huge infection!! Luckily it’s dying down and I can’t wait to get back into my healthier lifestyle and hit the gym again! Been 2 weeks since weighing and a lot of unmindful eating has occurred since then so who knows what the scales will say! Either way I’m going to try and remember it’s all a journey and there’s always going to be ups and downs!
