What really struck me when I saw this, apart from how stunning Carolyn looks, is how exciting the sustainable, slow fashion industry is and how lucky we are as a generation to be a part of something new and priceless for the future of this amazing planet we are privileged to inhabit. Not only is eco friendly fashion doing an outstanding job of protecting the planet, on land and by sea, it is opening the doors to our wildest imagination to see just how inventive we can be to save the planet. This exquisite evening dress was made by @maxmara
from 100 per cent recycled plastic!! If that's not clever and incredible I don't know what is. We can all do a little bit, then a little bit more to halt the scourge of fast, throw away fashion, currently the second biggest pollutant on earth. Recycle wherever possible, trade outfits with your friends, mix in lots of vintage, buy pre-loved clothes, donate to charity shops, choose ethical clothing manufacturers, buy less, choose wisely, upcycle items from your wardrobe and learn the art of reinvention but above all respect the most amazing planet we live on and body swerve the landfill. We don't have to throw everything away as this dress beautifully demonstrates....find new ways to reuse what we have and safeguard the future of our environment for generations to come.
