I don’t know about you, but when someone tells me that I can’t eat something, especially carbs, I’m like 🙅🏻♀️.
I am incredibly thankful for the strategy and science-based practice of the FASTer Way to Fat Loss. It is important to fuel your body with all three macronutrients <>. Restricting carbs long-term is a great way to wreck your metabolism and thyroid.
Simply put, carb cycling is the planning of low carb days and high carb days with the intention of maximizing fat burn and energy levels.
I bet you are wondering how it is possible to burn fat while still eating those carbs 🤔...am I right? In my program, we pair our carb intake with workouts designed to fuel from glycogen stores then fat for energy. This means that even on high carb days, it will not store excess carbs as fat because it is going to build that glycogen back up first.
When you combine this carb cycling with intermittent fasting, your body will be so effective at burning fat that you do not need to cut out carbs. Great news, right?!

This easy salad is the perfect side dish for your Labor Day meal!!! Summer Chickpea Kale Salad with Feta, Olives & Basil: * (4) cups cooked or canned chickpeas * (2-3) cups packed green curly kale or spinach , minced
* (1/3) cup black olives, pitted, sliced if desired * 1 cup green olives
* (1/2) cup cubed feta cheese
* (1) clove garlic, minced
* 1/4) cup minced red or green onion * (4) tbsp olive oil
* (2-3) tbsp red wine vinegar
* (1) tsp salt (or to taste)
* black pepper to taste
* (1) pint cherry tomatoes
* fresh basil leaves (from the garden or about one 6-8 leaves)
Combine the cooked beans, chopped spinach or kale, olives, feta, garlic & onion and toss gently together. Stir in the olive oil, red wine vinegar, salt & pepper and adjust to taste. Mix all gently to incorporate the dressing. Halve the cherry tomatoes and toss them in just at the end, reserving a few to leave on top for color. Just before serving, tear a generous amount of fresh basil leaves and scatter over the top.

I’m struggling a lot with upper body strength especially when it comes to pull ups and push ups... but it’s getting better step by step. It’s never easy to work on things you’re not good at. It can be super frustrating some days and you feel like giving up but if you push yourself harder and harder you’ll get stronger everyday and see how your body starts to change. I couldn’t do one push up but since I keep practicing them again and again I went up to 10 clean ones 💪🏼 Having a strong back and core is so important for your daily work, to manage everything in life like lifting heavy things from A to B or just carrying your baby... so make sure to put some core and back exercises in your daily routine😉

: Yesterday was back and 30 minutes on the stairs. *swipe👉🏼* Today was legs 🤮 aand abs 🤮🤮 at the gym and home for a treadmill 🏃🏻♀️. Yesterday I felt good, felt strong, was able to increase weight on some things... today, not so much. 🤷🏻♀️ I didn’t want to workout at all and every rep was a struggle. It’s just as done today when it sucked as it was yesterday when it didn’t. It’s back to school and back to simple food prep for me now. I’m doing school drop offs now, so leaving later in the morning I have more time to get my meals ready for the day. That also means coming home a little later in the afternoon since my gym time will be directly after work. Trying out the change of schedule for a little while. We will see how it goes.
