Hey guys, hope you all are having an awesome week. As we all know how hectic it is to balance work and personal life in this day and age, where both partners are working full-time. The last thing we want to worry about is to think about our grocery shopping. How do we do a grocery shopping that is healthy and budget friendly besides just knowing the standard healthy produce items? Here are my top five tips that I follow at every grocery shopping to make sure I pick items that are not only healthy, but saves me time and money and most importantly has more value over modern medicine.
1-Introduce an abundance of right foods into your health. We all know how our body reacts to certain foods more ham anyone else. Pick the foods that you know your body likes and handles well.
2- Pick fresh over boxed food because as we need to consume foods in its original and purest form which has a lot of fiber, vitamins and minerals and those that are not modified. For example: pick produce that is in season and is from your local farmers market. If you can plant your own fruits and vegetables that would be even better 👍🏻 3-Pick nutrient-dense foods also known as “superfoods” because those are the ones that actually play a major role in preventing the chronic diseases and keeping you hearty and healthy. For example: ginger, raw nuts and seeds, beans and lentils, honey, and turmeric.
4- don’t over buy the food items even if they are on sale, unless you are going to use it all right away. If you are thinking of freezing it, it will not taste the same because there is no life and energy left once you freeze it. You want to buy less, but buy fresh. Pick one fresh produce or a super food item and try it for a week and build your diet around these superfoods and see how you feel. Fresh food tastes amazing and is great for your health.
5-Plan your meals ahead of time that way you know exactly what you have to purchase when you go shopping. You go buy as much as you need and make it fresh. It not only saves you time and money, but it’s a great healthy eating habit.

When your sick kiddo’s cough sounds like a seal, you start using all the Thieves! In the diffuser, on his body (feet, chest, and spine), and in a tea!!! Praying for a restful night and feeling much better in the morning.
Girls’ lunch: savoury muffins with ham, carrot, cheese and a bit of spinach, and the sides you see. They loved them. It’s been a while since I’ve made savoury muffins but reminds me I should make them more, even as a snack for work! they are packed with protein and veggies (I added mushrooms and more spinach to mine) and delicious. About to put them to bed and then I’ll put myself to bed too! It’s one of those days! #kidslunch #healthykids #mumlife

Would you paint the leaves of your plant?
If you forgot to water your house plant, if it wasn’t getting sunlight or nutrients so it started to look sad and wilted, would you paint the leaves to make it look shiny and new again? .... Or would you water it?
Our bodies need food, water, sunlight and love to be healthy, to survive and to thrive - just like our plants. If we wouldn’t paint the leaves green when we neglected our plants, why do we look for the magic pill when it comes to our own bodies? Why do we cover up the damage instead of going back to the basics?
Nutrients. Water. Sunlight. Love.
Simple, yet super life changing, mega body balancing, remarkably mood altering, incredibly healing.
Stick to the essentials when it comes to your health. Whatever it is that is going on, remove the triggers and add in the nutrients. It’s easy to be healthy, just show up for yourself in the most basic fundamental ways and you’ll be on the right track.
Everything will shift from there.
Send me a DM if you need a little guidance.

Great cereal option! The One Degree sprouted brown rice crisps cereal is the only cereal I buy these days! I add some honey, berries & milk and I have had a bowl anytime of the day as a meal. It is delicious and the cereal only has one gram of sugar (my honey addition is separate 😁)! Four simple ingredients are in the cereal: organic sprouted whole grain brown rice, organic coconut sugar, salt & vitamin E. #onedegreeorganics #sprouted #wholegrains
Anyone on round two mid afternoon? Ok honestly I had about 1/4 c more this afternoon, not too much. But, I know there are many who drink coffee throughout the day! My grandpa who was a farmer in Nebraska, would drink coffee throughout the day! When I’d visit, I remember him coming in the house for a break and grabbing another cup! So let’s talk about coffee. I guess first off the most important question is are you consuming organic coffee ☕️ Did you know coffee crop are one of the crops most sprayed with pesticides. When you switch to organic you CAN taste the difference. So I would highly recommend organic, especially if your a daily drinker. Second thing is coffee in limited amounts can be a great fat burner as well as provide brain health and antioxidants, but what you put IN your coffee can totally ruin all of its health benefits. Adding tons of dairy creamers (also full of antibiotics) as well as fake chemical sugars like Splenda can add more harm than good to your body. Opt for dairy free creamers like coconut creamers, stevia for sweetness or organic honey. You’ll then at least be consuming healthier ingredients that you can use as fuel and not cause inflammation. So. What’s in your cup of joe? #coffee #organiccoffee #drinkorganic #cupofjoe #chooseorganic #dairyfree #crapfree #loveyourbody #choosewell #fitness #preworkout #readingredients #eatrealfoods #greenandfitmama

The advice to "eat everything in moderation" has become popular wisdom.
I used to say it often in my nutrition counseling sessions. But, I no longer agree with this as a health recommendation.
The truth is, this statement is extremely subjective and there isn’t much science to back it up!
My new blog post provides more insight into my explanation. I hope you’ll give it a read before making an immediate judgement! (It may surprise you). 🔗 to blog in bio! @foodfarmacistrd
What are your thoughts on this popular phrase? Feel free to share your views below!
Pasture raised (100% grass-fed) beef chuck roast, roasted broccoli, baby potatoes, and @clekraut
fermented beet kraut (probiotics and enzymes!).
For the roast I placed it in the crockpot and added a little coconut water (I don’t usually add liquid unless I’m planning on using/making something with the broth afterwards). Coconut water adds a touch of sweetness, plus it has electrolytes (lots of potassium!) which are necessary for optimal health. I then seasoned it with Himalayan pink salt, marjoram, and @Trader
joes coconut aminos. Yummo! Dinner was great and now there are a nice amount of leftovers for several meals (salad toppers, to mix with eggs and veggies, stir fry, wraps, etc.). What’s your favorite thing to cook in your crockpot? I also FINALLY now have an Instant Pot, and I am super excited to put it to good use! #pastureraisedbeef #fermentedfoods #fermentedbeets #coconutwater #electrolytes #probiotics #qualityprotein #protiencarbsfats #roastedveggies #vitaminsandminerals #foodismedicine #foodisfuel #fuelyourbodywithrealfood #nutrientdensity #beefchuckroast #crockpotmeals #slowcookermeals #colorfulveggies #macronutrients #micronutrients #eatrealfoods #whole30friendly #paleofriendly #wholesome #delicious #leftovers

Eggs scrambled with spinach and a spoonful of cottage cheese 👍🏻
Today’s lunch is definitely a little carb heavy but it’s coooold in Cleveland and potatoes are the ultimate comfort food.
I roasted these for about 45 minutes last night at 400° and seasoned them with salt, paprika, coriander, cumin and sage.
The black beans and quinoa were both cooked with a little salt and paprika, and the red peppers were roasted as is for about 10 minutes at 400°. Looking to add a little more greenery to alllll my meals this week, but this works for a 14° Tuesday that feels like a Monday.
Another breakfast photo #Whole30
and tasty, lots of good stuff on that plate- including homemade fermented slaw and mustard greens from my garden, non gmo pastured eggs from Bootlegger Farm here in Savannah.
I post a lot of breakfast photos because the natural light is so good. By dinner time the indoor lights don’t really do the food and colors on my plate justice, haven’t figured out how to solve that 🤔 The selfie light I bought for food photos isn’t doing what I had hoped...
Happy Tuesday lovelies ❤️✨
Spiced Mango porridge anyone? 🙏🏻😍 Made it for the first time today and it definitely wasn't the last time 🙌🏻 warm mango in combination with the goodness of spices is truly divine 🙏🏻😍 so if you haven't tried it yet, you really have to 🙊
I topped it with some fresh mango, berries, granola and cashew butter 💯❤️
And guys, THANK YOU so much for your reaction on my latest post!! I'm so overwhelmed! 🧡😚
Have a wonderful evening ✨
Lots of love xx

It seems some kind of yuck has hit this house! I can’t really complain since we’ve made it till almost February with none of the kids really getting anything, so I will take a cold.
In this house, sore throat+ yuck=Winter Wellness Tea. You can drink it liberally. It is so soothing and you are getting all the immune boosting benefits of the oils!!
~Winter Wellness Tea~
Mug of hot water
1 drop of Frankincense
1 drop of Copaiba
1drop of Thieves
2 drops of Lemon
~Mix the oils in the mug and sweeten with honey to taste! For extra yumminess and benefit add a splash of apple cider vinegar!
So my scale is up 9lbs from this weekend, am I worried? No, I know I over indulged, drank a lot of alcohol and late night snacks, I know this will be gone within the first few days on back on the plan. R8D1 here we go! 💪🏻🤩🏆
You Haven't Lost Weight Because of THIS ONE THING You've Been Doing All Wrong! 😱💩👎 Alright, the New Years Resolution motivation is starting to fade away and your commitment to a new, healthier you is waning. You started off the New Year with great intentions, but those cravings keep coming back making it a struggle to ignore and see you binging at that 3pm lull in the afternoon when you are tired and no longer able to sustain your will power.
Cravings are one of the biggest obstacles for people trying to make a healthy change in their diet. These cravings are telling your body that the body is missing something. It’s normally caused by a lack of nutrients and/or an overload of sugar causing the body to have intense energy slumps like the ones many of us encounter in the middle of the afternoon.
The key to reducing sugar cravings is to focus on having a healthy diet by adding real, wholesome foods to it. The more we eat whole and fresh foods, the more we nourish our body, and the more the desire for sugary foods decreases. What you eat at various times of the day is also important.
That is why I always start my clients off with my results based 10 Day Craving Busting Sugar-Tox Program. This program not only helps you eliminate cravings, making it much easier to follow a healthier regime, but it also will help you lose weight in a short period of time, helping to sustain your motivation, and increase your energy so you can resist temptations and feel empowered to make the changes to your lifestyle necessary to have LASTING RESULTS!

Vi assicuro che anche cotte a forno e non con la tipica frittura saranno altrettanto buone e croccanti‼️‼️‼️ A voi piace la verdura verde ❓❓❓ 🆕🆙 🏴Forget about drugs and medicines, just eat broccoli and spinach to keep yourself healthy
Eating vegetables is good for your health, but few know that broccoli and spinach should be consumed every day. They reduce cholesterol, help to detoxify and prevent serious diseases.
And for a healthy but tasty lunch-dinner idea I suggest you these crispy
spinach 😍😍😍😍second dish much loved by young and old and quick to make 😋😋😋
It's a different way to make the spinach eat even to those children who make tantrums in front of a plate of vegetables.
I assure you that even baked and not with the typical fry will be just as good and crisp.

Siamo convinti ora, vero? 😘

Little Jewels. Cherry tomatoes. These are going into my salad today. Variety is the best recipe to make plant-based eating sustainable and a joy. Not all tomatoes taste the same, like no all lettuces are the same. Experiment and go hunt for variety (if you can and have access to) 🍅
