F A L L 🥗 Not quite ready for the cozy casseroles or squash dishes, but this Brussel Sprout + Sweet Potato Salad is gearing me up for all the fall feels. 🍁 Kale, Brussel Sprouts, Sweet Potato, Broccoli Slaw, Pistachios and BACON was dressed up with my fave Shallot Sherry Vinaigrette (shallot, sherry, oil, dijon, Honey, S&P) for a nutrient-packed bowl of goodness.💡TIP: save that bacon grease—it’s perf in salad dressing, caramelized onions and for seasoning cast iron skillets. No way was I fitting in “traditional” forms of self care, it just wasn’t happening. So a couple of months ago at a @futuredreamscharity event at @gracebelgravia @melissa.hemsley suggested that I change the name Allergy Out to something a bit more positive but that still shows our mission to help you read and write reviews on how well restaurants deal with food allergies and intolerances. Shining a light on this as an issue is so important as is understand the science behind it all as there is so much misleading information which we want to cut through! Marinate the shrimp. Combine the shrimp, spices and olive oil in a bowl and toss to coat evenly. Place in the refrigerator to chill while you continue cooking. 2. Prepare the jicama rice by first making it into noodles and then using the food processor to chop into rice. Pat dry and set out for 1 – 2 hours before using. Heat the oil in a medium nonstick skillet over medium heat. When the oil is shimmering add the garlic and onion. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes. Add the jicama rice and lime juice and stir to combine. Protein pumpkin muffins 😛 have been the name of the game this week. . 2 cups flour- I used a mix of almond and @nuzest_usa vanilla protein! Pinch of baking soda/baking powder/salt/cinnamon. 1.5 cup pumpkin purée. 1/4-1/2 cup sweetener of choice- if using liquid sweetener, use less almond milk! 4 beat egg whites. Splash of almond milk to thin if needed Mix all ingredients except egg whites. Fold in the egg whites at the end with any mix ins- I used chocolate chips and walnuts. Bake at 350 for 15-20! ..

🇬🇧 happy sunday!! for breakfast i had some homemade raspberry chia seed jam on organic, whole-wheat bread 🤪 the jam took literally 2 seconds to make: i just smashed some raspberries until they had a “jam-like” consistency and then threw in 1/2 tsp of chia seeds! if you want it a little sweeter i would recommend adding some agave or sugar :) have a great day! ⠀⠀ - ✨ - ⠀⠀ 🇵🇹 é domingo!! hoje para o pequeno-almoço comi esta fatia de pão integral orgânico com doce de framboesas e chia caseiro 🤪 o doce levou literalmente 2 segundos a fazer: esmaguei algumas framboesas até terem uma consistência de doce e depois juntei 1/2 colher de chá de sementes de chia à mistura! se não acharem doce o suficiente, recomendo adicionarem um pouco de agave ou açúcar :) tenham um ótimo dia!

It took me a long time to really learn that balance isn’t about binging then doing cardio to “work it off”. It’s not starving yourself to “save up” for a meal or a night out. It IS BEING able to have a few drinks or eating out without the regret or guilt. Enjoying yourself and letting loose every now and then. It’s not stressing about calories, macros, or missing a workout. That’s the difference between a restrictive lifestyle and flexible eating. The first two days of fall have been nice and cool! It's also been misting all day, but I'll take it as long as I get fall temperatures ☺ . Chicken soup with Texas shaped pasta because you know the Texas state symbol is on everything here 😄 Recipe adapted from @jocooks . Start with a good base and then feel free to adapt. Growing up, my nanny always put in halved corn on the cob and drumsticks so you could get some of that flavor and nutrition from the bones. Put in the noodles in the @instantpotofficial for two minutes after everything else is done, add a splash of fresh lemon juice, and you have a savory, comforting chicken noodle soup made with lots of love. 💋 .
