I’ve put on 5kgs over the last two weeks 🤭 too much sugar and beer. Time to get back on track as of today. Fasted uphill walk + 💯 burpees at the top then a run back down. 10km. Felt great 👌🏻 For the record, I’m not starving myself when I fast, in fact I actually feel great mentally and physically. Although it’s not ideal for HIIT training because your body needs carbs for higher explosive workouts but endurance training is fine. Also fasting increases growth hormone secretion which can actually help you build muscle. It’s not until around 24-48 hours that your body will begin to use muscle or protein as a source of fuel. Your brain actually runs better on Ketones which are the breakdown of fat for fuel ⛽️ Another bonus of fasting is I can have a whole lot of Calories at once which I love 💖👊🏻 Mixed in my new single on the vid which is available on all major music outlets. Today’s mission was to move. Motivated by myself, a fictional character and everyone else around that pushes themselves to the max 😁 Started with 50 burpees, then a 21km run followed by another 50 burpees. All in a fasted state. Safe to say my body is sore 😅 But will only get stronger 💯👊🏻
100 burpees a day every day in December! 8 days down and feeling great 😁 I do majority of them as soon as I wake up. Start the day with something tough and it makes the remainder of the day a breeze 💯Thanks @gregsfat2fit

After 1 year of cold showers, decided to have my first ice bath today ❄️ The ice melted pretty quick but it was still cold!! Just over 10 minutes submerged. Felt refreshed and so alive once out! Looking forward to the next one. More ice will be used though 💯👍🏻 If you wish to try it, I recommend trying a cold shower first. Yes I have small muscles 💪🏻😂 Some benefits listed below.

Where are the introverts at??
I am right here! To be the best version of myself I have to have time alone. Having to get out of Redding which ended up being a 10 day adventure with Tiffany and her family, I started to become a person that was getting irritated, annoyed, and antsy. Which in general, none of those things describes who I am! •
I realized that unless I was taking a shower (🤷🏻♀️), I didn't have alone time and it started to have negative effects on how I was responding and treating others.
To fix that I went and played in sand dunes for hours taking in the salty air and give myself some time to relax and breathe.
Knowing what your needs are is so important! I was operating outside of who I was because a strong need I have is to be alone and reset. Next time you aren't acting normal, take a look at what your needs are and find time to get them met!
🥂 To knowing what you need and taking a picture that is definitely not the best, but reminds you of a time that you did something to take care of yourself!
