I heard this quote on episode 80 of the @stockstotrade
podcast with @tbohen
If you've never tuned in, it's an awesome podcast with some really great insights for new traders like myself.
This quote cannot be more true for me in my life right now.
The road to becoming a better version of yourself is challenging. You can't have growth without growing pains.
Frequently, hard times don't always come in one swift punch in the face.
Challenge can chip away your fortitude and strength to the point where you wake up one day and have no clue how you got where you are or what you're actually trying to accomplish.
I know I only have a few "real" followers right now, but I know I'm not alone. I know there are many out there right now wondering if it's possible to win without the pure strength like this Navy SEAL.
I wish it were as easy as "just keep going" or repeating "you got this" to yourself everyday.
Honestly, I think affirmations and positive thinking only get you so far. At some point in your life you have to march into battle.
You have to fight the battles in order to win the war. You have to be willing to get knocked down several times in order to win the fight.
Most times I've found, your opponent is simply yourself. If you don't think so, you've not studied your enemy hard enough.
So, whether you're a trader, entrepreneur, or just trying to work through some hard times, put on your armor and fight for what you want.
