Then somewhere along the way, the 35-year-old artist (maybe accidentally) got good, and he now finds himself playing for 18,000 fans a night while attracting another round of Grammy nominations for both song of the year and record of the year for “#ThisIsAmerica
Still, he doesn’t seem entirely committed. Less than a month ago, Glover revealed the first shots of his upcoming film project with #Rihanna
, “Guava Island,” using — what else? — the name Childish Gambino.
