So, picking out #thread
... After deciding on the main fabric (the pink, green, and white floral), and realizing that I need more green fabric in my stash, I decided on the dusty pink satin and white cotton as my accent fabrics. Next was the thread. I could have gone with a standard white or black, but I have alllllll this thread, might as well use it for something, right?
I pawed through my thread stash and found the lime green that I liked for sure, a lighter pink, a bright dark pink, and a dusty pink that matches the satin. For some possible accents, I pulled out some metallic silver and metallic dark green thread.
I messed with the combos on the fabric for a few minutes and ultimately decided on the lime green, bright dark pink, and the metallic green. Why the metallic green and not the silver? Because as I said earlier, there is not enough green fabric in my #fabricstash
to give this dress what it really needs, which is green accents. So, to compensate, I will be using the lime green and metallic green mostly throughout this piece.
Now for some quick clean up, and we'll do some #livestream
