Once upon a time... I stayed at the Disney’s Art Of Animation Resort 🐚📚😊 (... and I would probably live there happily ever after, if I wouldn’t run out of money at some point 🙄😄)
If you haven’t been there yet and you think about it, maybe this will help you to draw a better picture... (✏️ get it?! Little art word pun 🤓)
For me it was a longtime dream come true. Therefore I am super happy to share my experience 💕😊:
Entering the animation reception hall you‘ll first see lots and lots of sketches on the walls. Early drawings of Ursula, Dory or my favorite car Guido 🚙
The reception desks, all different colored, remind a bit of a palette as they light up 🎨💜🧡💛
Like in almost every Disney resort, you‘ll also find a Disney store, a restaurant, plus some play & game areas.
But the real fun of Art of Animation begins after the check-in. The resort has four unique themed sections: Cars, Finding Nemo, The Lion King, & The Little Mermaid. All including giant characters, fitting music, a pool and of course all themed hotel rooms. It is so much fun just walking around and finding all the little and giant movie details...
At the Lion King section for example, they played Toto‘s „Africa“ when we found the elephant graveyard with Shenzi, Banzai and Ed. So awesome!! 🤩🦁🎶
I‘ll post all about our The Little Mermaid section and room later on too 🐚🐠🦀 But I can already say, my absolute highlight here: the statue of Prince Eric 😍👑 #vacationreport #happyme #allaboutit #artofanimation
