Can you be forever grateful and always hungry for more at the same time?
A lot of high performers have a fear of “satisfaction”. Believing that if they are grateful and appreciative of where they are it will lead them to be “satisfied” and lose the drive and motivation to push for more
This couldn’t be further from the truth.
Gratitude and appreciate is a driver itself.
You can be joyfully driven, happily dissatisfied, and gratefully hungry for more.
It’s not one or the other.
True success will only come when you can be grateful and driven at the same time.

Those little blue lights are the glow worms of Waipu Caves. Was hard to get a good shot for obvious reasons but was an amazing experience. I even caught the biggest fish I’ve ever caught before. Quite unintentionally with my backpack (so I didn’t get to keep it). Didn’t happen to get a photo of it hanging off my pack sadly as I was pretty freaked out during the experience being thigh deep in cave water. But you’ll have to trust me on this one.
Oh , Canada you are so pretty🍁🌼🍁
🇨🇴 ¿Qué más parce? “How’s it going, buddy?” 😁
🤩 We are so stoked to be continuing our Spanish immersion worldschooling adventure this winter in Colombia!! 🌎 Our jumping off point is the city of Medellin -- a bustling, modern hub popular among digital nomads and worldschoolers for its beautiful weather, accommodations, friendliness, culture, and coffee. ☕👌
Where are you going this winter? Or where WOULD you go, if you could? 🚙🏜️🏖️
It truly amazes me what is possible right now for those of us who want to travel and live internationally. 🌠 For people who are open to thinking outside the traditional definitions of a job or brick-and-mortar business, the internet and the smartphone 🤳 have opened up the possibility for anyone to live their life from anywhere while earning an income. 😊 And even though our previous jobs (dental hygienist and electrician) weren’t exactly internet friendly, we held on to our vision of travel and kept looking for income opportunities and developing new skills. Probably most importantly, we kept asking ourselves “what if WE could do that?” 🙌
🙋 I want to give a special shout out to our team and tell you how much it means to us to be able to work with you from wherever we are -- we are truly blessed. 👫👭💖 The best is yet to be for all of us. 💗
This place is the coolest, and would make a great Halloween location 🙌 I toured this place and fell in love with it. Between 1828 and 1867, Fort Union was the most important fur trade post on the Upper Missouri. The Assiniboine and many other Northern Plains Indians traded over 25,000 Buffalo robes. It is one of the earliest declared National Historic Landmarks in the US. Historic visitors include Jim Bridger and Chief Sitting Bull. This house was called the Bourgeois, or manager’s house.
Our on-the-road work is so much nicer and easier thanks to our Soho House membership. With 20+ spectacular club houses in 10+ cities from Malibu to Mumbai, we always have a perfect spot for work, meetings or just hanging out. Most of the clubs have hotel rooms, gyms and rooftop pools. They all offer a laidback vibe, solid food and stellar cocktails 🍹.
Soho House just opened up a new feature called “No House” membership for people living in cities that don’t have a house yet. For €1500/year you get access to all their houses. A great deal if you’re on the road and want to feel like home! #sohohouse #sohohousechicago #nomadworker #digitalnomad #digitalnomads
So many fake gurus out there just trying to look everything easy, trying to make u think that u will get rich in a week... ⚜️ The week goes by, u didn’t get rich, now u frustrated thinking that u are a failure. 😭
Let me tell u something, u’re not, u just got scammed by one of the many posers out there that sell their courses and products with the promise of making u millions in an instant. 🤑
Why? Cause they can’t deliver value, a true mentor delivers value, and teaches u the things he/she knows the right way and tells u that it takes effort, but eventually if u put the work, u’ll make it !💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
Hiked 10k around this park. From grasslands with sheep everywhere, to forest with amazingly beautiful trees, to a bay that I had mainly to myself and a view of Tiritiri island, this place has it all. I’m feeling like I’ll be back here in the near future.
Life is like riding a bicycle 🚲
You need to stay balanced in order to move on.
We have been travelling for two months now and actually, to our surprise, find it difficult to be in the right balance, as we are lacking some routines we like to keep.
For us it is important to eat well, sleep well, meditate, exercise and explore.
We do some of them, but find that it is too irregular to be in perfect balance. Especially exercising is tricky as we are always busy doing other stuff. We had actually planned to train up to a marathon for next May, but so far it is not going too well...🙈
What are your best tips for staying balanced and exercising whilst travelling?
The silence before the dawn
The rainy season has started in Cusco but fortunately, it only started to rain on my way home. I love exploring the city, discovering new shops and cafés. Had a very interesting chat with a guy at a small shop about the Quechua language. I still can't speak much but my "tupanachiskama" (good-bye) sounds more natural now. Well, I hope so at least. Anyone out there who speaks Quechua or tries to learn it? Or another indigenous language?
Missing 🍋 and ⛵️. Still trying to perfect the spritz. Definitely want to go back.
of all the boss ass babes I’ve connected with thru social media, @tranquilgoddess

We’ve been getting a lot of questions about budget for this trip. Short story is we looked up a backpackers budget for South America online, doubled it, and are still tracking over budget. 🙈 Long story is... we need to write a blog. We’re definitely not living the typical backpacker lifestyle but we’re not living very lavishly either. Rich is riding on his crypto gains and Fran is working on contract as we travel so it’s working out, but we do wish there was more information out there for our type of travel lifestyle.
Think I could consider this proof for that earth is not flat..🌎🤪
Something my old Junior High teacher taught me, that I later got reminded about by @simonsinek
was, always #startwithwhy
Everyone knows WHAT they are doing, everyone knows HOW they are doing it, but the question many fail to answer is: WHY❓”People don’t buy what you do, they buy why you do it.”
