I think probably hands down my favorite breakfast in the whole world! 😍 Grilled cherry tomatoes and mushrooms, sauteed spinach and toasted German rye topped with 2 perfectly poached eggs and some of the smashed avo I prepped yesterday which is probably the BEST I've ever made it! This time I blended the avocado with 2 cloves of garlic, half the juice of a lime and 2 tbsp of water 👌 so so creamy! Hope everyone enjoys there weekend! While talking to a few of our clients, it just hit me that a lot of us go through the same shit on a regular basis. . You know that weight is not the only indicator of progress and even though you yourself can clearly see the changes in your body like losing inches and dresses fitting better, people shame you about not losing weight faster and its so fucking annoying. . It sucks and its like one of those questions you get asked at functions about your career and marriage. . And I believe the best way to deal with it is to simply nod your head, smile and move on. . This isnt probably a scientific solution but what also helps is knowing that there are other people going through the same shit and venting it out with them. . I believe this is one of those things where group classes and the fitness friends you have made along the way, help you in maintaining your sanity. . The unanimous message from such information is that one has to consume less food. And with this in mind, many attempt to reduce episodes of eating and/or food volume. - - The problem with the above method is as follows: alteration of body composition is not subjective. Instead, it answers objectively to the numeric balance of energy. Therefore unmeasured reduction of meals or quantity of food in meals/snacks/drinks becomes redundant to the outcome unless the actual energy within meals/snacks/drinks consumed is accounted for. As the above example shows, reducing episodes of eating does not guarantee a calorie deficit. Here, an individual is hoping that their perception of ‘eating less’ will support the goal. The reality is that the individual is not factually aware of their nutritional consumption. The goal may or may not be supported. - - Alternatively, accurate calculation of an individual’s compositional statistics, TDEE and lifestyle can factually determine the value of energy required to enter a state of caloric deficit.
