7:34 PM | Bat-Burger
Dick sat comfortably in the black faux leather driver’s seat of his car, manufactured by special WayneTech mechanics to suit both his social life and his nightlife. The car was a deep gray color with a pearlescent blue undertone. The dashboard was designed to collapse into itself to give whoever was in the two front seats more room, this was the current state of the car. An ambient yellow glow poured into his car sporadically, A large “Bat-Burger” franchise sign was rotating ever so slowly, occasionally turning its resplendent front side on his car only to rotate away seconds later. Dick rubbed his hand gently across the underside of his Mandible, feeling his scruff from a two day period of not shaving, before putting two fingers in the orifice between the knot of his tie and his throat and pulling on it, lightly tugging from left to right to loosen it up and release the tension it had on his collar all day. His cobalt eyes beated all over the newspaper in his hand, looking left to right, left to right, trying to make sense of what he was reading, “BATMAN: guardian or MURDERER? By, Gotham Gazettes Vicki Vale,” Dick knew he hadn’t killed anyone, so why was he being framed as a murderer, he was much less aggressive with his opponents than Bruce, and even Bruce hadn’t killed anybody. He took a deep breathe in, almost hurting his lungs with how much oxygen he was intaking before diving back into the frontpage article, “Detective Montoya. . . Batman snapped? . . Cop killing vigilante. . . Who will stop him, who will hunt the batman?” Dicks fist clenched the paper, his now white knuckles released and turned them red as blood circulation flowed back in. He threw the paper out his car window then pressed his hand against a black screen on the collapsed dashboard, which after a quick scan of dicks hand, pushed itself backout and lit up the interior of the car with a bright touch screen panel built into the middle of it. Dick took the gear shift out of parking before placing his foot on the gas pedal and driving out of the fast food parking lot.
