#exercise of the day Shoulder blaster⁣ ⁣ Try this little twist on a lateral raise. We have added a bench to increase stability, so you can stress the shoulders even more. Many thanks to @aaron_h_pt for being a guinea pig. Just remember the following cues⁣ ⁣ 1️⃣Brace yourself against the bench⁣ 2️⃣Pull back your shoulder blades. ⁣ 3️⃣Think about pushing your hands out to the opposite walls. The occasional bloody nose, bloody shins, the times you puke.. I still believe it going to pay off. I don’t stop when I’m tired. I stop when nothing is left in me. One day it’s going to pay off. Till then, just have to keep grinding. One day soon will be my time. The only thing I can do is keep pushing. We all different beasts inside us. Just have to find the one that’s meant for you. I haven’t found a true calling in life, but the one constant in mine is moving weight a normal person shouldn’t be able to move for my size. Day 187. Deadlift day and it felt decent. From watching my videos, I need to stop the jerk motion before I yank the weight up. I did 365 for 5x2 which was a battle but I completed the sets. After my main workout of deadlifts I did deficit with a 3 second pause at my shins. *Slaps roof of compressed spine.* Seriously though, like wtf? Take 5 minutes, if that. Don’t do 2 warm up sets when you hardly have the mobility. It helps, a lot more. Same with any other sport. If ur squatting, check out Jeff Cavaliers video. He does a good job explaining it. I’ve had a few warmups before and his is honestly my favorite. It works for squatting, and kind of deadlifting if you mix it in with some other stuff. Meet is done, I’m sore as hell but had a good meet all thing considering. Squat hit a new PR with a 666 squat. Bench I missed my first bench and had to do it over but then ended at 468. Last meet hit 501 but was in a different shirt this meet so I’ll take it. Deadlift is funny because I pulled 600 doing the same as my last meet but today I had a deadlift suit on which was truly my first time in the suit lol. I know it helped because I have been having problems with my back and my fusion but honestly who goes to a meet and says “well I’ve never used a deadlift suit might as well try it on meet day” Lolol huge thank you to my brother in law @bigboy0488 and my little sister @madogfan08 for handling me today. Keeping the accountability factor high today. Fasted sunday workout. Today is leg day. Squats, deadlifts, bulgarian left and right in that order. Gonna feel this tomorrow 😑 I usually put in a leg day workout twice a week, and squats and deadlifts are a must.
