THE OVERSHOOT CLUB LEGGOOOOO 😈
Little edit of today’s deadlift and bench workout.
180kg moved well but I realised I rushed the set up and so my form wasn’t the best, though it wasn’t dangerous and my back feels good. Need to slow down the set up and get it correct, cue: straight legs, flat back, pull and then swing back!
Although conventional form seems to be going really well at the moment.
Nothing new with paused bench, just going light after deadlifts and doing more volume!
Me and my 605/275.

I love yoga but I also really love strength training. 💪🏼 Maybe it’s the Gemini in me 😏 but I don’t think it has to be one or the other. I think the two compliment one another really well. The softness I’ve cultivated in moving intuitively through yoga helps me to find a gentler way to do heavy lifting + other exercises. The strength I’ve developed in my upper body allows me to explore different shapes with more confidence. This is how I know my yoga practice is my life practice. I’m much better at doing hard things the easier way, dropping the struggle + listening to my body.
I’m pretty driven when it comes to goals + getting things done but @ashfunsize29
encourages me to dig deep + believe in + trust my strength. I am very grateful for the sisterhood we’ve developed over the last year + a half. She knows her stuff + knows when I can afford to step it up a notch.🙌🏼 She also humors me by taking these photographs. You’ve gotta love a gym face.😝
Health + wellness isn’t one size fits all + just because I start the day om-ing on a cushion doesn’t mean I don’t want to deadlift or crush my pushups. I’m really proud of how strong I’ve become + it has most certainly affected how I view my internal strength. I’m more empowered. When you drop in + form an inner alignment, it all becomes the same practice. It simply takes other forms. Make your own rules.✌🏼#rootyogawellness #yoga #strengthtraining
Functional Training 👊
There are so many styles of fitness today, some of the ones I stick to are the ones that create the most function in the body.
What style of fitness do you love?

Really excited for what this year is going to offer in the gym! Have been feeling a lot stronger and just overall good! I’m loving this! How much do you think I’ll deadlift by 2020? 650 maybe?😏 PS. Extremely excited to announce that I’m officially an athlete for @mass_cast
