Continuing my Bat-binge, today's #eBay
delivery was one of the few auctions I said "fuck it" and placed a massive automatic bid for (fortunately, it didn't get anywhere near that amount). This lot of #Batman
figures features characters from #Arkham
Asylum, Arkham City, and Arkham Origins games and most of them are intact with most of their accessories.
Batman is the series 3 version (more on that later), and Tim Drake #Robin
is sadly missing his bo staff. Unfortunately, Dick broke (giggle). #Nightwing
's leg snapped apparently during transit (benefit of the doubt) because this lot was sent in a post bag instead of protected in a box. It was a simple glue job but as annoying as that is I just don't have the energy to kick up a stink.
is the only figure amongst these that comes from the Asylum range and she's a tough one to find for cheap. Fortunately, she comes with her peg base because, like the animated series figures, I'm not sure those feet can keep her balanced. #TaliaAlGhul
I already have mint in pack (for hella cheap from Mega Toy Fair) and #Catwoman
has a story of her own in regards to her search, I'm glad to add her to the collection.
is missing his cigar but honestly that's such a bizarre tiny accessory to include, and I'm not a big fan of #Deadshot
(don't like the character and hate this design). I'm also not a fan of Origins (such a waste of a game) but these figures are rather nice. I have to double check but I may already have #Deathstroke
(complete and was only $4). #LadyShiva
and The #Electrocutioner
are part of a 3-pack but sadly the *only' Origins figure I want, Dr Harleen Quinzel, was not part of this lot.
So the Batman figure I have here is from series 3 of the toy releases and apart from the paint and belt he's an identical mould to the Asylum version. Previously, I had already bought the series 4 version, which most notably has more torso articulation as well as more prominent detail all round. If nothing else this just fascinates me.
