The Bethlahem PA SteelStacks Arts Quest Center is still one of the most unique places I've been to for a wedding, complete with a flaming arch! Anyone else been to a wedding venue that was LIT?
🌞Cam & Shay always find themselves hanging out in museums during their travel adventures.
💙No wonder their unique love story will be expressed in an art exhibition AND wedding 10 Saturdays from today! #loveisalwayswise
🧡Do you find yourself taking your boothang to the museum ever? What do you love most about museum dates? Comment 👇🏼
😘If not, consider it your next Saturday date adventure!

I love this double exposure of these two because it just translates so well that fluttering feeling of them being head over heels for each other 😇
Nothing fancy...just love 🥰

I've been watching the @mariekondo
show on Netflix this week, and one thing that really resonates with me is how she focuses on joy. She encourages people to find the spark of joy in their belongings and ultimately in their lives, and it resonates because I feel like that's my mission too! I love for my clients to find that spark of joy during their sessions, especially for any couples portraits I'm doing. Feeling the spark of joy they have for each other and that exists between them is sheer magic in how it turns out in their photos. I love it so much! There are so many ways in which I'm able to create an environment where that's even possible; I mean, come on - having your photo taken isn't the most comfortable situation - but I do my best to make it so! It's one of the funnest parts of my job! Who knew? Marie Kondo and me - soul sisters! haha
Skipping in the rain with cute umbrellas, is the best way to enjoy a rainy engagement session that you can’t reschedule, because DC makes you get permission and pay permits to shoot at cool places like this 😆
What are some of your favorite wedding moments?
Dad's face at seeing his daughter in her wedding dress. Always a priceless one 👍
These two love birds are having a baby! As if that wasn't exciting enough, they got snow during their maternity session! haha I feel like if you're up for planning a winter photo session, getting snow that day is like hitting the jackpot! OK... maybe that's just how I feel! haha More of these sweethearts and their baby bump on the blog later this week!
Anyone getting married today? Happy wedding day from Sam, Ale and their amazing bridal party!
I love getting in close on the dance floor for these immersive shots of the action. Cut loose!
I ask them, “Have you guys ever taken professional photos before?!” They both hesitantly respond, “Oh, no we haven’t. This is our first time.” I tell them that I will instruct them and not to worry because I will take care of the posing. Our first 30 minutes together is awkward and I know it. Don’t worry, I understand that feeling and I want to HELP you make awesome photos. I can already imagine the images in my brain before I take them, but the camera is the tool I use to create the photograph. You can find me right here, smashed-face behind my art machine, looking out for YOU because we are totally in this together.
Janelle, ready to put on her wedding dress. It's moments like this that I love to capture, moments that you've been waiting for for months, even years. Moments that lead up to the biggest events, when you marry the love of your life.
If you're so in love and excited to get married, that your partner excitedly picks you up off the ground for a romantic kiss on your wedding day, I want to meet you! haha I love how in love my couples are - whether they've been together for years and are excited to finally be married, or they swept each other off their feet and just know they've found 'the one', your love inspires me! And an inspired photographer is an exceptional photographer. So excited for all my 2019 couples - this is your year! Dates are filling in fast and I'm excited to see what you all - and the ones who are still out there, still to book - put together! | Photo taken while 2nd shooting for @erintettertonphotography
This is from today with Caroline and Joey, a warm, beautiful winter engagement session in DC. More coming to the blog soon!
Finding those angles that you may not first expect. It's something I love to do. Here's where I found that spot at Sam and Ale's Catholic ceremony at the Washington DC @holyrosarydc
