THIS. ❤️ Little words from my Daughter many years ago, remind me how much she appreciated & loved our Mother- Daughter relationship.
I've been watching "Tidying Up with Marie Kondo" on Netflix and it's caused a massive amount of purging in my home. Getting rid of items I've had for decades that no longer serve any purpose being packed away in boxes, in closets, on shelves, in my cedar chest, meaningless things like my diaries from Middle School, 4-H projects, books (and more books!), trinkets from childhood. All of this has followed me from Iowa to Florida, to the Middle East and back again to Iowa to every home I've lived in. My car is now packed to the brim with clothing, bedding, household items, books...all waiting to be donated to the thrift store. The junk remainders will be bagged up and placed at the curb for garbage day. But amongst all this purging ( I've only just begun), I've come across many things from my children's childhood that I'll pack away and give to them at a time in their lives when I know they'll appreciate seeing and having them. Until then, I'll enjoy rummaging through all my "junk" and finding loving gems, like this little card from my daughter.
