Bioware created one of the best Star Wars games of all time if not the best Star Wars game ever and one of the best games in general in Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic, it was released in 2003 for the Xbox and later that year for the PC. It became the fastest selling Xbox title at its time, selling 250.000 copies in four days and was met with universal acclaim winning lots of GOTY awards.
The Story takes u through a variety of Star wars locales such as Tatooine and while visiting these worlds u meet wonderful characters, and companions, who u take along on the journey and each bring different personalities and backgrounds to the table. All that in a way a Bioware could do very well, this game must have been a blueprint for their Mass effect games. All that plus a plot twist that is unexpected and delivered in a thrilling fashion, it's one of the most famous and best in gaming.
U create and shape your own star wars character. U wake up on a ship under attack by the Sith, with no memories of your past. It is up to U which skills u learn and if u walk down the path of the Light or dark side while uncovering your identity and trying to stop the war....... Choice is vital. U choose what kind of Jedi u become.
Romance has its role just like most Bioware games and The Bastille romance is one of the more interesting ones in gaming imo.
The Combat is maybe hard to get into for some esp for those that dislike turn based games, during combat the game pauses and u choose what actions your character executes, but it is worth trying for this game and it is always worth it to try a different gameplay style that is loved by many.
Complete with great sw style music, lightsabers, different blasters to use, Star wars worlds and species, characters whom u can interact with and do quests for, this is the Ultimate Star wars gaming Experience. A True Classic. This was a game i knew nothing about and just picked randomly.......really glad i did.
