Making a pizza at home with healthy plant foods will give you the comfort and experience of pizza, without the strain on your liver and other vital organs. Not to mention your energy and waistline, which would only inhibit your healing process more.
This recipe is perfect to enjoy with friends or family, and pairs beautifully with a a big fresh salad. .
Pizza (wheat & dairy free)
. 🍕 1 gluten-free/dairy-free pizza crust. . 🍕 1 jar marinara/pizza sauce
. 🍕 1-2 cups thinly sliced red, yellow, &/or orange bell peppers
. 🍕 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
. 🍕 1-2 garlic cloves, chopped OR 1Tbsp minced garlic
. 🍕 1/2 red onion, sliced. . 🍕 4 basil leaves OR 1tsp crushed basil
. 🍕 1 Tbs olive oil
. 🍕 1/4 tsp fresh dried thyme & oregano,
. 🍕 Pinch sea salt & pepper
. 🍕 Meats (optional) We used chicken + pepperoni. . 🍕 Cheese (optional) We used @daiyafoods
. 🍽 Preheat oven to 425 degrees F & position a rack in the middle of the oven
🍽 Bring large skillet to medium heat, add 1 Tbs olive oil, onions, peppers, mushrooms, garlic, dried herbs, salt & pepper & stir. Cook until soft 10-15 minutes.
🍽 Top pizza crust with desired amount of marinara/pizza sauce & top with sautéed veggies, meats & cheese if desired.
🍽 Place pizza either directly on oven rack or pizza stone
🍽 Bake for 15-20 minutes
🍽 Top with fresh basil & red pepper flakes, if desired
🍽 Eat & enjoy!

RB Performance Tip: when eating bad foods like “pizza” prioritize with veggies first. Here I plated my salad first and then “filled up” my plate with my pizza. Focus on ADDING in healthy foods and not CUTTING out “bad” foods 😉 #reillybsportsrd #rd2be

I have an announcement: I have officially broken the diary free, gluten free, non gmo pizza puzzle. As many of you know, trying to find or even make pizza that actually tastes like legit pizza seems impossible. It’s always the same problems - either the crust is way wrong or the cheese is way wrong or both and what u end up with doesn’t taste like pizza! After months of searching and recipe testing I have finally created PIZZA 🍕 .
-Accept that you can’t eliminate gluten and keep pizza dough flavor.
-there’s a secret in the sauce u use .
-stick to just regular pepperoni and cheese and maybe some herbs. .
-accept thin crust. .
and for my next trick- I may share the recipe... maybe even do a little filming... Like comment follow share! Looking to see how much interest there is... .

I loved everything about yesterday to pizzas. 8 hours, 13 pizzas, 4 restaurants and 10,000 steps later and I have never been in such a good food coma! Today I’m going to start by sharing about our first stop, the original @frankpepepizza
. This was the only pizza place on the tour that I had been to before. Frank Pepe Pizzeria Napoletana is known everywhere and in my opinion, it really lives up to all of the hype. I couldn’t believe the number of people who were already in there devouring pies at 10:45 am on a Sunday. That’s the way to do it if you want to skip the lines I guess! 🍕 The first pizza was the tomato pie without mozzarella. When it comes to pizza, I’m usually all about the cheese but I have to admit, I liked this one a lot more than I thought I would. Don’t knock it til ya try it, right? 🍕🥦 The next pizza was a white pizza with broccoli, mozzarella & onions. Again when it comes to pizza I usually like it loaded with meat, not veggies. However, the broccoli was cooked just right and the onions added just the right amount of flavor. Probably my second favorite pizza from Pepe’s! 🍕There is something about a good ole classic original cheese pizza. The piping hot stretchy mozzarella and the crisp thin crust made for the perfect slice. They seriously know what they’re doing! 🍕 Last but not least and my favorite from Pepe’s was their specialty White Clam Pizza. This was topped with fresh clams, grated cheese, olive oil and fresh garlic and oregano. This was the pizza we devoured the quickest by far. I wish I could eat this one over and over again. This clam pizza for breakfast is my new favorite.

Week 5. Chest and Triceps. My ladies are crushing it👊💕 I won’t lie... My week was less than stellar, and I found myself super hungry, so I’m going to up my food intake this week. More carbs. More fruit..
Imagine going on a road trip, wanting to get to a destination and then just getting in the car and randomly driving.
That’s how I felt years ago... Wanting to get results... tone up, lose a few pounds but having NO real direction. I’d try free fitness pal apps, eliminate food groups, and even go to gyms but had no daily nutritional support or accountability.
I even scowled at others getting better results than me, allowing my EGO to keep me WEAK, small, jealous, and a crusty negative 👎 bitch.... Shameful to admit that, but it’s true... and it kept me stuck.😥😥... and let me tell you. Feeling that way was HARD 😢😢😢
Well friends... I got over my damn self and asked for guidance.
The time to have the MAP 🗺 is before you get on the road trip.... Or else you’re going to get lost, and waste a shit ton of time.... and 💰 money wandering around aimlessly.
Spending $200 🙏💕on myself was THE BEST investment I ever made. Super cheap to workout from home, and I love being done in 30 minutes🙌🙌🙌
Having a free coach and a super hot personal trainer, who comes through the screen also helps too.

I think hubby was so pleased with how much I enjoyed the dairy and gluten free éclairs he brought home for me that he decided to try some other bits when he went shopping. Yesterday he got me a dairy and gluten free Roasted Tomato and Basil Sheesy pizza from @wholecreations
which was very nice. I would mark it down a little as the toppings were less than generous and I would have liked a bit more 'sheese' - that said I don't know if putting more 'sheese' on might be what makes some of the dairy free cheese pizzas unpleasant because it makes them more obviously fake. The base was very good though, nice taste and texture and this is coming from someone who eats gluten free because hubby is intolerant and also because most things that are dairy free are also gluten free. Hubby had the Dr Oetker GF pizza which he didn't enjoy the base so much but the toppings were good. We had a salad of cold roasted vegetables and rocket with gluten and dairy free pesto stirred through - all in all I enjoyed it very much.

My parents made the pizza dough and I made the vegan mozzarella with cashew nuts, almond milk, nutritional yeast, and sweet potato flour 🧀 (Swipe right for video😀)
We used the tomato and red onion pasta sauce from Jamie Oliver as our pizza sauce. 🍅
The toppings were sun dried tomatoes, fresh basil leaves, and black olives. 🌱
Yesterday I really wanted pizza... today I’m eating pizza. Follow your dreams. 🤣 I promise this is Paleo and it’s one of our all time faves when you have some time.
Mix 1/3 cup of warm water, 3 tbls of olive oil, 1 tbls of honey. Then sprinkle 2 1/4 tsp of active dry yeast. Let sit for 5 min. Add 1 beaten egg, a 1/4 tsp of salt and 1 1/2 cups of tapioca starch. Whisk. Add 1 1/4 cup of almond flour and 1/4 cup of tapioca starch. Mix and knead. Cover dough ball with plastic wrap and place in oven for 45 min (DO NOT HEAT). Then roll it out, brush with olive oil and heat at 375 degrees for 8 min. Then once you take it out you can add all the toppings you want!! Our pizza has homemade sauce, pulled chicken, chicken sausage and pineapple. Once you’ve topped it with your favorites put it back in the oven for 8-12 minutes.

- 1/2 cup Almond Flour
- 3/4 cup Tapioca Flour
- 6 TBL Coconut flour
- 1 egg
- 1/3 cup water
- 1/3 cup Olive Oil
- 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1/2 tsp Onion Powder
- 3/4 tsp Sea Salt
- 1 TBL Apple Cider Vinegar
*Use more Tapioca Flour for kneading the dough!
Bake 10 min on parchment paper at 450. Take out & flip the dough over & top and back again until ready🤩🍕🥓 #bryandri
Pizza Night! 🍕 I think I'm finally mastering the art of gluten-free + dairy-free pizza making and showing my stomach and taste buds that compromise does exist!
I'm not a big fan of most vegan cheeses, so I tend to just avoid them altogether and load my pizza with tons of veggies and herbs so that the flavor is bomb and I really don't miss the cheese.
Today I actually used my fav. dairy-free cream cheese from @kitehillfoods
(which is basically just almonds) as a creamy base! I found a great flat bread/wrap that crisps up and is low-ish in carbs...and topped with basil & oregano essential oil olive oil 🌿.
All gluten-free + dairy-free pizza tips are welcome and appreciated 😍
V E G G I E T H I N C R U S T
1/4 cup Balsamic vinegar
High-heat oil (grape seed, avocado, sunflower...)
Dried herbs (optional)
Thin crust from @traderjoes
(comes with 2)
1 eggplant (sliced)
1 yellow onion (sliced into strips)
1 green bell pepper (sliced into strips)
6 small portobello mushrooms (sliced..)
3 tbls (on each) of marinara sauce
1 tbls (on each) cashew cheese (optional)
1 tbls (on each) artichoke antipasto (optional) @traderjoes
-Have a small bowl of balsamic vinegar, oil, dried herbs, salt and pepper ready. Quickly dip to cover both sides of the eggplant (it soaks up quickly). Laid it out on a baking sheet and bake for about 20ish minutes at 375. (Turn eggplant over half way through)
-While it's baking sauté all your veggies with some oil, salt and pepper on a pan. It'll be on medium heat for about 5-7 minutes. -When eggplant is done, (raise temp to 400) let it cool off while you put on the marinara, cashew cheese and artichoke antipasto. Top off with eggplant and sautéed veggies. -Put the pizza back in for about 10-15 minutes. I check to see if the edges are a bit crispy.
Enjoy this goodness, cause it’s dairy-free 👊🏼.
Eggplant always seemed like a weird vegetable to me, but when it's baked right, it just soaks up the flavor you put on it and has a unique texture. It's one of my favorites now 🙌🏼. •
