Written In The Stars - Imperial / Double IPA - 8.8%ABV - Aether Brewing.
This is as solid a DIPA as you're likely to find. Combining berries, sourness & double IPA is both crazy & genius! Bold boysenberry makes its presence felt straight up with a subtle but potent alcohol kick bringing up the rear & while it's not overpowering, it's definitely there. Surprisingly easy to drink but not one your could have six of. Finishes with a medium tartness & a boysenberry resurgence. Stellar job guys!

After brewing, our beer rests at less than 0 degrees in subterranean cold-storage cellars for 5 weeks. This creates Mazzatti’s unique smoothness.
Managed to get on the @verdantbrew
Thanks to @mash.ferment.condition.repeat
for grabbing me a can from @cotteridgewines
This definitely lives up to the hype. It's god damn delicious. Super hazy and thick, full of big mango, peach and tropical fruit flavours. Everything you need and more from a DIPA 😍
The hops are really working hard to give a fruitiness and an insane pine backbone. If you can get your hands on this I highly recommend it - didn't want it to end! 🍻🙌👌
What every day should look like... 😍 The Squeeze New England IPA 🍻
First things first, my son makes waffles with putty (play dough) and they smell 10xbetter than this. That said I cracked this can about waist high & could instantly smell it. Utter hop yogurt again. Better than I remember. Has the recipe been tweaked? All the best sides of galaxy. I know @verdantbrew
always want a bit of bitterness to balance things out but for me there was a lingering bitterness afterwards that I didn’t enjoy. second can was different. Still incredible joose. Thank you @verdantbrew
Pass the sauce, thanks! 🍺 Extra Hop Sauce IPA - intensely hoppy.
Epic Brewing Co. [🇳🇿], LilHop Session IPA (4.4% ABV, 20 IBU).
First ‘official’ day back at work for 2019...getting into this one from Epic one day before the best before!! Pours crystal clear. Dry hopped with Citra (debittered leaf!!) this thing still has plenty of hop aroma and a subtle bitterness. Plenty sessionable and a great sized bottle.

After trying their Bubble & Squeak at last year's Craft Beer Festival in the Vegas, (thanks to @themonkey_bar
), I was stoked to discover @saucebrewing
had put out it's bigger sister (brother?) Trubble & Squeak. Wow, talk about a big bitter NEIPA mango wrapped in black brick but done in style! At a 9% mega taste sensation, it reminds me of a Pan Galactic Gargle Blaster ...

Beautifully crafted tart saison from @thecrypticproject
These guys have been churning out some good stuff for quite a while so good on @batchbrewingcompany
for helping me enjoy this mild afternoon with my doge. The Batch Trippy Hippy Voodoo Gold is a 5.6%, 2.1 standard drinks, golden ale in a 440ml can popping out a flavoursome Voyager Voodoo Malt. Not that she's a fan, but my faithful "hound" (imagine a reverse Labradoodle) is happy to watch me sink a few on the deck as she watches on from the pool. #goldenale #batchbrewing #batchbrewery #wetdog
A nice couple from @titanicbrewery
shared last night with Tasha. The original 4.9% plum porter I've had before and really enjoyed it with its jammy, sticky, rich plum flavours and long bitterness. The grand reserve at 6.5% takes this and ramps it up with the addition of sweet figs, boozy pudding, raisins and caramel. Both wonderful on a cold evening in front of the telly.
‘Jeju Wit Ale’ by Jeju Jungmun. I picked this up from a convenience store just next to Incheon Airport during a quick stop over. This isn’t usually my style at all, but really enjoyed it after a long flight. ;)
Another present from Spain, today the breaking 'Breaking DWIPA' by @lavellacaravana
from Menargués in Cataluna. This double white IPA was the first hop bomb I've had from Spain and it was delicious.

When the 'Hazy' family is all lined up ready to get their picture taken...
I don't often post a review of the same beer, but I felt it appropriate for this guy, the Trubble guy. First posted about in October last year, I was very happy to learn this bad boy would be re-released. Had it changed flavour? No, which is great. Is it better than last time? Yes, which is also great! This mango and steroids infused big brother of the Bubble & Squeak, is just overall a fantastic beer that goes down the hatch stupidly easy. I'm very lucky to have had it both from the tap and from the can, and neither fall short of a punchy, hoppy and exciting beer. The family picture will be broken tonight, starting with the Pazy Hale, backed up with the Bubble and (once I've got a little more food in my belly) finished off with the Trubble. 😀🍺

Wren House Brewing - Festbier - Pours a clear gold with a medium head. A german lager brewed with a light malty character that is refreshing and crushable - ABV 5.00% - 🍺😀👍 Prost!
Amelia Coconut IPA @moonrakerbrewing.
This is a great coconut beer. If you can’t get a hold of Fieldworks coconut milk DIPA, this pretty much tastes the same. Very smooth and creamy with a ton of coconut flavor 🥥 🌴
”Karl requires assistance” - having actually had “Karl’s date turns sour” before this at the recent BeerFest, I can say I prefer this one. Smooth, lasting creamy head with a vibrant navel orange flavour throughout. A dash of malt and a real orange tang finish. It’s 9% but you wouldn’t know it and it looks like poor ol Karl didn’t either! I always wondered whether RR were referring to Karl Strauss in the name? Anyone know? Love the artwork and good to see Karl get a second outing on the sour as well
